As long as the truck gets across the mountain passes that surround me to the next charge point with a load, I will be satisfied. Then again, I would prefer a long bed and less passenger area. I want to work. I want a truck to do work. If I have to have a trailer, I know my range is going to suffer. So just give us workers a long bed and three seats.

Have you tried ABetterRoutePlanner to go places you commonly do? There is an option to add weight. I'm using a Reference Consumption of 65 mph value of 458 Wh/mi (it will adjust if you go faster or slower than that)
  • I'd make it 900 for pulling a light/flat trailer as a general start.
  • I'd make it 1100 for pulling a heavier/box trailer as a general start.

That is good information! It wasn't what I intended to ask for, but I will definitely add that app to my phone when I get my truck sometime in 2025 or 26. I'm estimated somewhere in the high 800K in line as I read my reservation number. I may ultimately want an 8 foot long bed and an intimate cabin space for maybe ONE friend and a cooler for beverages and food for breaks. But that seem more a fantasy given how much wealthy people have NO idea what a grunt needs. It's all about the market of Brads and Chads competing with the Swedes and Stinky's with their hand build crawlers/toys/compensators. As for my CT, when I get it, it will get an overhead rack. If I build it or mortgage my home for one of the Tesla racks.

65-70 unless traffic. Just a real world result after a week.

that's pretty promising. are you cruising up ramps too? I'm not as familiar with your area but in the south on ramp lights to freeway speed is pretty short in some areas

The commute is in between Los Gatos and 237/Great Am Pkwy. No significant grades. Normal small hills in neighborhoods. Normal graded on-ramps and off-ramps.

Hmmm, 122kW/ 382Wh/mi?

That's 319 miles range on a Beast? They said it couldn't be done!!
It was over before it began. I have the high ground.
