Awesome thanks for sharing! I hope you know the TRI and the AWD aren’t the same and that you meant to opt for the Dual .
The tri motor I reserved was when Elon unveiled the Cybertruck over 4 years ago. Once they offered me the Foundation Series AWD or Cyberbeast, I opted for the AWD. Originally I wanted the tri motor version because of the 500 mile range.

Okay good as long as you knew. The only difference from before was Tri became the beast. So I was afraid you thought you still had the Tri. All good!

Congrats! Thanks also for the timeline.

I have a CyberBeast with a second half delivery. I plan on paying cash and didn't expect it until much later in the year. I need to figure out the "best" way to get the cash together. Maybe I should start that process ASAP just in case my number comes up earlier....

We picked up our Cybertruck last Friday (January 26, 2024) in Irvine, CA. What an amazing vehicle! Definitely the best driving Tesla we've owned. Well worth the wait and I feel very privileged being one of the first few on the road. It is definitely an attention grabber. The really interesting thing is everyone I talk to really likes the vehicle and all the kids that see it and immediately know what it is and typically yell "it's a Cybertruck" or "that's sick".

Here is a summary of my timeline from my initial reservation to delivery. I am not a Tesla employee nor am I affiliated with any Tesla employee.

11.21.2019 - Reserved Tri Motor AWD (at Cybertruck unveil at the Tesla Design Center) Reservation #: RN112760686
12.08.2023 - Received FS Invite (7:30 PM)
12.08.2023 - Ordered FS AWD (8:25 PM)
01.12.2024 - Received VIN (7G2CEHED3RA000964)
01.13.2024 - Received phone call from Irvine delivery center (expected vehicle delivery in ~2 weeks)
01.22.2024 - Cybertruck arrived in California (via rail) and will ship via truck to Irvine (expected vehicle delivery ~2 days)
01.23.2024 - Received phone call saying Cybertruck arrived in Irvine and scheduled delivery for 01.26.2024
01.26.2024 - Picked up Cybertruck! (exactly 2 weeks after VIN assigned)

Thanks for sharing. Super helpful but also super sad for some of us. If it is taking almost 2mos for people in California and Texas. Us other states have no chance in seeing a truck this year! There is no timeline for the rest of us , I know a few were in Florida and one New York but who knows how common that really is. Everything says California and Texas first so I can’t even imagine the time before I see my vin or any assigned in Pennsylvania.

What type of insurance quotes did you California? I got USAA for $215/mo (Age 50 - SF Bay) and I got $127/mo from Liberty Mutual. However Liberty Mutual says “vehicle too new” when I entered your VIN, then u had to manual put in the rest of it. Maybe once they realize it is a Cybertruck the premium might go up?
Nevada driver, Senior driver multiple car discounts USAA was 212 a month, 300 more than my 10 year old MS. also 300 a month more than my 8 yr old 3500HD High Country. same mileage 12k a year. Interesting USAA had the CT in the database already

They said they would contact me when they come in and either I can pick them up or they can send mobile service to install them or even ship them to me.

Awesome buddy. Thanks for the response. I‘ll be picking up from Irvine soon I hope. Don’t want you driving around the South OC all by yourself. LOL. Just got the Home share email approval today.

So Tesla is filling Day 1 orders.
I feel for those that ordered a month later, or 2 months later.
Going to be a loooong wait.
