I received my VIN on Sunday evening. And now I’m just waiting for a delivery date.

Yeah, I had to ask them. They checked and then called me back saying that they're not included at the moment. They have no idea when they will be available. It's not a big deal but it'd be nice if they came already installed. I wonder if the design on the sidewall will line up?

They said they get them really dirty and that's why they need a couple of days to deliver it. But then when I started asking about any scratches or anything the vehicle may have. They said they don't look at it until they wash the morning of delivery. I'm sure they want it to be as clean as possible for delivery but seems like it would be good for them to walk the truck in detail before scheduling someone to come get it.

Congrats! Really feeling I should change my delivery location from Austin to Houston or Dallas.

The sooner the better! I have seen several at Ridgepoint. The only one with a temp plate was registered out of Bexar County.

Interesting... my delivery center in the app is Pond Springs. Might roll the dice and see about changing it to San Antonio.

Pond Springs is still open, but they no longer service cars there. I also have Pond Springs as my Tesla Location. I tried to change the location in the app, but no luck.

Update: Getting Closer!

1/26/24 - I received a call from Tesla Freemont but they did not leave a message and you can't call back to that number.

1/29/24 - This morning, my Tesla app showed that I needed to go to my website account to confirm that I understand my CyberTruck does not currently have FSD or Autopilot, but will in the future thru an OTA software update. I was then directed back to the App where I saw my VIN and asked for me to input my insurance info. Just waiting on the delivery date.

Up-Update:

1/31/24 - The Tesla San Antonio (Airport) SC called me this morning to schedule my CyberTruck delivery (that was fast). She said this, this week, this SC received 5 CyberTrucks and they are prepping for delivery .... one CT this Friday and four CTs next week. She also they were told to expect 100 CT deliveries per week at this one SC (That sounds very high but when I questioned her, she reconfirmed this 100/week number).

1/31/24 - The Tesla San Antonio (Airport) SC called me this morning to schedule my CyberTruck delivery (that was fast). She said this, this week, this SC received 5 CyberTrucks and they are prepping for delivery .... one CT this Friday and four CTs next week.
