Why wouldn't it?

When hooking up to sure power at campsites depending on the amperage you may not be able to power all of your appliances. Which can make your camping experience not so great. I was curious to see if the CyberTruck with a 40amp 240v outlet be would be able to fully power an RV with 50amps. Not power some appliances but power all of them at once.

There's a 14-50 outlet in the bed.

So that's uhh... Two and a half toasters. Or two tower PCs. Or... Well, more power than I use in my kitchen at any point in time.

You have a 4kW toaster?

I think I know why your toast is always burnt ?

Huh? Isn't that obvious? It can fuckin' power a house for 10 hours.

And yeah, I am not so stupid to turn on that many power hungry appliances in my RV even if have a boxful of fuses in my cabinet.

I am more interested though on the wright and the range he got pulling that RV.

were you previously part of the TFL squad, or is this previewing that they reached out to and will use your truck to review?
I wasn’t a part of TFL. I reached out to them and gave them access to my CT. We collaborated on a few videos and their podcast

Yes but only rated for 40amps
ALL 14-50 outlets are rated for 40 amps, thats by specification. if you are pulling more then 40 amps on a NEMA 14-50 you are overloading that outlet and good luck to you at that point.

sorry but this video adds no value.

FIFY.

The real issue is whether CT can charge from shore power while passing power to the RV, so as to not overload the pedestal. Which we have heard that it can't currently, but should be able to pass ~4kW in the future according to Baglino IIRC. Is 4kW enough for an RV while parked?
