So you believe that the front camera that’s 18” off the ground will somehow get less road dirt and grime than the rear camera 4’ off the ground unless someone is off-roading? You must live in the absolute cleanest, bug free city on earth.

Also, you started this post off with what Tesla SHOULD have done according to you then finished with telling others not to tell other people what they should want. Didn’t follow your own advice huh. ?
No, I don't believe the front camera will accumulate less crap, I believe the front camera is significantly less important than the rear. The need for a front camera is only occasional. The need for a rear camera is constant.

But also, I'm done chasing this rabbit. I just don't care enough to keep having this argument. Let's all pretend that tesla couldn't have done anything better than they did, that way they never improve. Sounds great. I won't talk about rearview mirrors anymore.

I was simply pointing out that you weren’t following the advice you’re giving others. Everyone’s opinion is subjective and valid. We all are victims of projecting our wants, needs, what works and what doesn’t on others, myself included.

The rear view of the truck sucks, no question. So did the rear view from the mirror of the older model MS’s (I had a 2014). Tesla thought it was important to put a head rest for the center passenger which means it’s the first thing you see from the rear view mirror. It was very frustrating until I got used to not seeing it. Getting used to it doesn’t make it any less frustrating BTW. I get it.
