The only Tesla to non-tesla bad habit I have is remembering to turn the car off. That's happened a few times, grab my phone and walk out -- whoops!
Yeah, I say (and I’m only half-joking) that in a few years I’m going to get run over by my rental car when I get out and leave it in DRIVE with the engine running.

When you are flying you do not have other aircraft next to or behind you so closely that mirrors would do any good, not to mention the vibration.
I certainly have made use of mirrors in fighters to monitor wingman position in the clouds.

No doubt 'cropped'. Aspect ratio is dramatically different. Plus anyone that drives any tesla knows those rear view views and aspect ratios. I looked for a while ... sure that I saw a YT example of it but could not locate it. They swiped up and down to see the front and rear views.
You can see a LITTLE bit of the bumper.

I have been looking for that link all day. Thanks! Now all we need is for one of these that can accept the Tesla side and rear camera feeds, and for Tesla to provide access to them in some nice way. It would also be nice to stitch the 3 feeds together seamlessly. I hope that someone comes up with such a solution for the Cybertruck!

This one comes close albeit with its own cameras:

We might be better off with the separate cameras. Who knows how long it might take Tesla to provide an API for the camera feeds, if ever. And even if they did, we would have to deal with the cabling issue. Also, with a separate set of cameras we can mount them wherever we want to. Personally, I would like to take advantage of the power at the roof, and to run the camera cables in through the roof liner. But for that to work out for me I'd like to mount the cameras on the back and ends of something like the light bar, or a rack bar. I keep hoping that the light bar, and/or the 'right' (for me) roof rack will come along. There are a couple of 4-channel digital mirror solutions (with cameras) out there once I get these other issues resolved.
