Nail him to a cross. Maybe going too far but we have become a way too tolerant society. I don’t want to punish innocent people but this guy is caught red handed.

I can't tell from the video what he used to try to break the glass. Would be nice to know if he was standing on the glass roof.
Yup, It would like to know if a spark plug fragment was used.

Looked like in the video the tried multiple things from a couple different angles. So much damage in such a short amount of time, hope they catch him and it is highly publicized to try to prevent more in the future.
This is one of the many reasons that Sentry mode is a 100% must

Where was this? where you able to get the plate number? Hopefully this gets some traction and Police are able to find them.

They call using spark plugs (or pieces from the spark plug), "bipping", it's absolutely pathetic. I saw on the news one day, people were visiting the Painted Ladies in SF (aka, the "Full House" house), and dudes were just breaking into cars in broad daylight, nobody did a thing...

Not like it makes a difference, but did they pull up in an Infinite? I expect a chevette or some kind of beater.

I'm worried about vandalism when my truck gets here. I wish there was a setting in the app that would alert you and you adjust the sensitivity from alerting if the sees a person, to someone kicking the door or breaking the window.
At least if you're close you can run out to the truck.

Its called a "punch". It is a triangular-tipped tool used to break windows in case of emergency. They usually modify them to fit on a glove so they can just hold there hand up to the window with a bit of pressure to break the window. Of course, the laminated glass of the CT does not respond the way they expect.

it looks like he first used a spark plug
It didn't work on the rear glass
THen he got one of those spring glass breaker things and that didn't work either so he tried to jump on the roof and break it

This is really good. I'm curious if he was a noob so his technique was wrong?
They obviously do not know the details of the CT and its laminated glass. The punch tool just is not effective on laminated glass as it is on single-layer temperated glass found on most vehicles. The punch usually makes them shatter instantly - they were probably a bit frustrated from the looks of it and had to move on.

Cybertruck took a punch. So how should Cybertruck punch back?
