God forbid the Cybertruck isn’t the bestest at everything ?
Just look up my first comment in this thread. CT supremacy was never my point. Simple facts of physics are my point. But keep on denying them, if you feel fine with your stupidity.

You did not watch until the end, where the CT draged the Silverado across the lot? Just imagine spinning wheels on the Silverado, to finally get the picture. So sad, that those morons in the video did not pump the brakes in the CT and let the silverado spin its tires on the spot. Intellectual lightweights usually prefer such demonstrations over a theoretical lecture.

Wait what? You mean where the Silverado was only in park and wasn't driving? Seriously? A Jeep Gladiator could have pulled a parked Silverado.

Dude... I really really am beginning to believe you are just trollin' in this thread...

It came from Tesla itself so I call it semi-suspect. The 911 race was already debunked...
Ahh, 'dubunked' as in 'if we exceed the speed the Cybertruck is limited to, we eventually do win'?

The only thing wrong is Elon said 1/4 when the text said 1/8th.

That's not debunked.

We have been through this... read above and watch EE's video. EE sure as heck debunked it.

Here... I can save you from watching the video... have a read:

https://insideevs.com/news/699260/tesla-cybertruck-porsche-race/

Yes... debunked when Musk says 1/4 mile but it was half that... thats not honest marketing.

From the article:

Yet during the press conference, even Tesla CEO Elon Musk was adamant that it was a proper quarter-mile drag.

“This is an actual Porsche. We literally just got it from the dealer. 2023 Porsche 911,” Musk said during the Cybertruck launch event. “It can tow a Porsche 911 across a quarter mile faster than the Porsche 911 can go by itself.”
Debunked.

Wow, so you're just a troll. Got it.

You're putting words into EE's mouth at this point.

This video only refers to 0-60, not a distance, either.

Sorry that you're busy debunking an insideevs article (there was no press conference).

Wait what? I'm sorry Crissa, how am I a troll? Where did I put words into anyone's mouth? That quote was from InsideEV's article and EE's video was all about that. Where did I "troll" or put words into someone's mouth? Did you read the InsideEV article?

I'm a bit perplexed here...

From Webster's Dictionary:

DEBUNK
verb (used with object)
to expose or excoriate (a claim, assertion, sentiment, etc.) as being pretentious, false, or exaggerated:

Did I miss something?

Crissa, did you watch the delivery event? I queued it up for you for his statement:

Quote from Elon Musk from that video as shown above:

"It can tow a Porsche 911 across the 1/4 mile faster than the Porsche 911 can go by itself."
Come on Crissa... seriously?

You’re right, you are the wisest and know more than everyone. We are just stupid morons that can’t see the greatness of the Cybertruck.

Unfortunately in our community of Tesla Owners, you will be called a Troll, Shill, Moron, Stupid for anything you say that goes against Tesla or Musk. It’s truly sad.

No one here was trying to bring down the a Cybertruck. Just pointing out that it’s all gimmicks but somehow some of these Tesla loyalist took it as a swipe at Tesla and the Cybertruck because we didn’t call the video a sham while at the same time accepting the video Tesla put out as gospel.

It’s a really weird fan base.

Trolling is trolling, which is what they're doing.

Im still waiting for you to come explain what was trolling from my posts. Everything I stated was fact. Everything that you claim of the words I “put in EEs mouth” was what he said. Yes EE said that Tesla’s marketing was false and was not correct or representing the truth. I said the word “debunked” which was a verb for exactly what he did. There was one troll here and it was @PLC essentially saying EE was off. His statements about pulling were majorly off. He insulted members here and called people names. You liked his comments which was somewhat of a head scratcher.

What @CTInProcess said was spot on and this is a shame. This thread started with a video that was probably purely for entertainment value and then the fanbois (and fangurl) jumped in. Here is what is really sad. I own 3 ICE trucks of which 2 are late model Fords. I love them. I also have a CT Beast on order that I can’t wait to get. I will enjoy them all. But I also will use the right vehicle for the right task. Do I think a F350 High Output can probably smoke a CT in a tug of war. You bet I do. Do I really care? No because I won’t be doing that. If I have to pull 40k lbs, even for short trips will I use the Ford? Count on it because it will perform much better. Does that make me love the CT any less? No. I will thoroughly enjoy driving the CT. That’s why I am here. But I am also realistic that the CT is not the end-all to vehicles. I base my decisions on facts and am happy to share them. But far from being a troll. It’s trolling to say that anyone who doesn’t drink the koolaid on everything Tesla is a “moron”, “stupid”, “a troll”. That’s pathetic. Tesla is marketing their products for sales as they should. But there is nothing wrong with calling a spade a spade and keeping them honest.

It amazes me that folks can’t be objective and simply say “Yeah, there is a bit of fluff in Tesla’s marketing. It’s part of the game.”

Yeah for the record, I am an engineer by trade. I am all about facts and being up front. So no, I’m not trolling and never did in this thread. I simply pointed out facts and it was mind blowing to find people literally ignoring the facts and even saying Elon didn’t say that or the EE doesn’t know what he is doing. Just Wow.

I am not the wisest, but I am for sure a little wiser than you or mountainman.
I am out of this conversation. Admin banned me for calling your sort by your name.
