Absolutely agree man! There are still so many little issues with these trucks being delivered today, and everyone knows Tesla rapidly implements improvements in production as they become available. A truck in q3 or q4 or this year is so much less likely to have rattles, squeaks, motor issues, panel alignment issues, and whatever other gremlins and mechanical quirks these early trucks have. Plus, you know… fsd and locking diffs!

I meant the software bugs would be worked out with OTA's, and then new features like Autopilot and FSD would finally come to the CT. Who knows precisely how long it will take for FSD? Those wanting to experience FSD and paying the early FS premium may end up getting it at the same time as a NON-FS owner. Who knows???

There should be special invites to order non-FS Cybertrucks. That'd be a real treat! Giving people the privilege to buy a marked up version is a little slimy.

It's Ford dealership type markups... direct from the factory. Yay, if you can prove you lost money in the stock market, AND pay heafty premium, you could be driving a CyberTruck before 2030. ?.

Tough pill to swallow. But I'm almost embarrassed to admit, I'd be tempted to rework the math on our finances and try to make it work.

Unfortunately (or probably fortunately for me), I miss the stock purchase date by a few months and have only a hundred and some odd shares. Though in a few more months, the requirements will be anyone with a heartbeat and human DNA may order a Foundation. ?

Well, after 82 days of waiting on a VIN so far, maybe this is a good break for me. I have held stock for around 6 years, through several splits, and the ups and downs. At one point, my gains were 1,200%. The stocked has dropped a lot since then. Enough for me to buy a few cybertrucks. I qualify and was already a registered stockholder. After trying to get the page to load about 10 times, I finally was able to click the button and submit. We will see if this speeds it up any... Maybe I'll get my VIN tomorrow! lol. Next argument can be over who has more shares and gets it first!

This might be extreme, but I placed my order on Dec 26th and haven't received a VIN yet, so I went ahead and jumped through this hoop in hopes of actually getting my VIN in the next month or so. This is one of the very few times I wished I lived in CA (East Coast needs some CT delivery love!).

I just signed up for the program. I signed up for the FS on 2/12 with a Feb to Apr timeframe. With this program I might save a month or so.
FYI - when you sign up you just click the link you are eligible and then await an email from Tesla to send your statements.

Does thsi get you a second configuration? or just accelerate the configuration you already had made on 2/12?

Early Cybertruck Delivery for Long-Term TSLA Shareholders

Sign up by Friday, March 22, 2024 11:59 PM CT CDT to take early delivery of a Foundation Series Cybertruck. If confirmed, you will receive an email with additional details prior to the delivery. This program is limited to one reservation per customer and currently available only in the US and Canada.
Eligibility Requirements:

1. The Cybertruck reservation must be in the participant’s name and have been made prior to March 1st, 2024;
2. The participant has not yet taken delivery of a Cybertruck;
3. Each participant must provide brokerage statements showing that you owned TSLA shares on Feb. 28, 2021 and owned at least 500 TSLA shares on Feb. 29, 2024;
4. The brokerage statements for Feb. 29, 2024 must show that you owned at least 50% of the TSLA shares that you owned on Feb. 28, 2021; and
5. Brokerage statements proving shareholdings must clearly show first/last name, statement date, and Tesla shares. All other information may be redacted.
