Yes it was finally repaired, but I know several other cyber truck owners who have been waiting up to 1.5 months for the repair. It really sucks because Tesla doesn’t communicate anything. In fact the majority of the wait comes from awaiting delivery from parts off the manufacturing floor. Tesla’s customer service stinks and we all paid $20K more to be the literal test dummies for Tesla. I still love my truck, but the experience has me worried for the next time there’s an issue. Tesla’s support has dropped off a cliff compared to when I owned my first one 8 years ago.
yeah that sucks, Tesla is just too busy now. That's what happens when they grow too big. For me, when I made the decision to buy the Cybertruck I was fully prepared for something to go wrong with it. It's just the reality of being first to a new product like this.

Yep. Very sorry about people having these early adopter problems. The Cybertruck is a radical departure from other vehicle designs. Being in the computer field for the last few decades: there's a reason why the newest technology is referred to as the "bleeding edge".

Why is that surprising? I used to be on here without an account just to read, and started posting as my delivery got closer. I think it’s a good thing people post stories like mine because Tesla should be held accountable for stuff like this, and people should be informed on these issues.
No worries.

As someone who's been on the internet longer than most. this is why I remind people that forums are no judge of reliability: Because people who are having problems are more motivated to seek out and post to vent or find solutions.

So we should be here to commiserate and make sure community is there to help them find their solutions.

I have a CT reserved and very happy I don't have it now vs. in a year or more. The longer the better from what I can hear and see today. Elon seems to have the CT as his Flagship EV and has a big piggy bank so I would think he would direct others to fix all these 'discrepancies' and make Customer Satisfaction his banner.
Especially being we are soon to see the veil lifted on Robotaxi and that alone is a multitude larger than a truck with regulatory oversight and much much more.
Meanwhile all this non-EV noise such as X, humans on the moon and mars, and other fancies makes me wonder how solid of a commitment will be placed on Customer Satisfaction for EVs.

Good news everyone, it’s fixed! The service center did an awesome job getting it solved. Total about 10 days or so, most of that waiting for part to arrive, got a nice loaner the whole time. Loving the truck. It’s worth all the hassle it’s really incredible, don’t listen to the haters

I'm so glad it is fixed... enjoy it.
I have an appointment on the 29th for the climate system that broke during the power conversion fix. Hopefully, it's just a programming issue that needs to be initialized.

BTW the 29th is due to my delay since it went straight to the PPF shop. Our service center did not do a good job keeping it clean. I had to pay $800 to get it clean and ready for PPF.

They're all one thing, really. Not all your eggs (people) in one basket (planet). EV's, even if one might argue they're a bit early yet, the wave of the future. Less censored social media (since some "misinformation" turns out in hindsight not to be, but to have been portrayed that way for political or ideological advantage, or under the guise of public health, for control), so more ideas that may lead to solutions are freely expressed. Even tunnels to bypass surface congestion, or brain implants to unfetter the physically challenged.

All making use of potential. So maybe Starship isn't complete yet, but Falcon is out-launching the rest of the world except China put together. And I hear Starlink is great in the boonies.

Is it related to the 48v wiring harness issue that I have read about?
No the harness is separate. Mine was fine. The pcs had an issue causing mid voltage to be lost

Hi, I know your issues with your CT are about 6 months old, but apparently i seem to have the same issue on my recently delivered truck. Here's a brief before i ask your guidance:
- 9/9/24 picked up CT AWD foundation serious (VIN in the 29K)
- 9/25 asked to update the software with auto-park
-9/27 drove it for about 10 miles after software update (~630 miles in total since delivery), the car has total power loss in a parking lot without any previous warnings or alerts, upon opening the driver door, the screen shut down, the steering wheel went upside down, and the driver door rod is sticking out and did not go back after opening the door, upon jumping it, multiple errors showed up indicating low voltage issue detected.
Tesla ended up sending towing service and the car was dropped to Springfield NJ SC.

- 10/2 Tesla is texting me that "48v lithium battery, the power conversion system as well as the high voltage cluster harness require replacement" pushing the repair time from 10/4 to 10/18 (i.e. 22 days from dropping it at SC), note: I understand in NJ 20 calendar days may be sufficient to initiate lemon request.

My question to you, if this is similar to what you have experienced, how did the problem fixing go, and was it recurrent, or it never happened again? did they need to replace any other parts?

What is your experience guidance for me?

Thanks in advance
