For folks who have owned a Foundation Series Cyber Beast for >6 months: if your truck was totaled (and you wanted to replace it with another CT) which build options would you go with this time around? Core wheels? Grey interior? AWD?

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The AWD CT is not worth the money. Coming from a Lightning, the Beast is a step up premium experience. If you get the AWD, you're better off spending less and getting a Lightning.

If i did it all over again I would get another Beast. If I wanted to be cheap, I'd get a Lightning. If I owned an AWD CT, I'd be ashamed I didn't spend a bit more or a lot less.

Fake news. I own both (AWD since March) and Beast for a week now. The AWD is not in the same ballpark as a fucking Lightning! The Beast is amazing but the AWD is plenty fast and I have had zero issues with it to boot.

Yeah I don’t know about this. Yes the beast is faster and a more special vehicle generally, but the AWD vs Lightning? The only thing they have in common are they are electric and have a bed.

I would get the Beast again. The only thing I regret about the decision is the Beast *is* louder than the AWD (and the Lightning). However, that is not a big enough detractor to make me settle for anything else.

Silly statement.

Hands down, the Beast. I opted for the gray interior because, well, it is a truck—and despite my best efforts, Thor the Cyberdog has already left his mark. Literally. Nose prints and drool stains galore, courtesy of my four-legged co-pilot.

I have NEVER owned a vehicle this beautiful and fun to drive. If I were a giga-millionaire, I’d still roll with the Beast as my ultimate ride—it’s simply the best and most versatile vehicle in the world. Although, let’s be honest, it would also be decked out with every cool gadget and gizmo Tesla (or third party innovators) could throw at it.

Since taking delivery of Blitzen in July, my other cars have been…neglected. In fact, I haven’t driven any of my collectibles since the Cyberbeast arrived. I’ve even parted ways with a few of my favorites! My philosophy? Let someone else enjoy the old classics because I am fully geeked out on the new.

Blitzen isn’t just a vehicle. It’s a lifestyle. Love my Beast.

The AWD has plastic interior correct? My Beast has premium suede interior which looks and feels really nice. To me that extra feel of premium materials along with the tri-motor being absolutely wicked blows the AWD CT out of the water. I had a non-FS CT AWD on order that got delayed and ended up with a FS Beast. The white interior in person vs the tactical gray in person is a larger step up than what one may think until they drive it on the daily.

I do feel like the Beast is a $100k+ truck comparative to other $100k+ trucks I’ve owned, but the AWD CT does feel less special and to me should be a $60k-$70k truck. Not sure $20k should be the difference in price, but it’s probably fair.

All that said.. I’m selling my Beast. No rush, but when it’s gone it will be gone. I got an opportunity for a 2025 Raptor R at MSRP and had to do it. A couple of items on the Beast that I really wish could be addressed for the next time I buy one:

1. EOM rear view mirror camera or a brand new solution to the existing camera(maybe an upgrade?) that provides less noise at night.

2. Needs a camera washer on the rear. It’s weird they only put one on the front.

3. I know it’s likely not ever gonna happen but I’d really like a Heads Up Display. Tesla could do a lot of fun and quirky things with it.

4. They need a fully steel boxed in frame.

5. Hopefully range in the battery cells will be improved. I drove from Colorado to Wisconsin with the Beast, no issues, but there were a couple of stretches where I ran down to 1%(because I don’t have range anxiety) but I wish I didn’t have to and that it just could have gone that extra distance to a better stop or faster charger in the area.

6. The Beast needs a sports package like the Plaid got. The off road mode was a great start, but let’s get this truck pushing around a track cuz to me that would be fun as heck. YMMV.

7. The truck bed auto opens. It needs to auto close.

8. FSD will likely have massive improvements and hopefully be closer to my last Tesla Model S I had for years before the CT. I sort of stopped using FSD after the last update.. I don’t feel like I can depend on it like I have been able to with my Model S.
