I just picked up my brand new 2025 non foundation series cybertruck today. I was looking it over for quality issues and I noticed that the driver side top trim piece was really warped looking, kind of like it was beat with a hammer. I brought up the issue to the guy who took care of me for delivery and he tried to tell me it was in spec?? I call bullshit because the passenger side is perfectly straight. Anyone else see this issue before ? Can it be fixed? You can also see the shiny panel between the top glass and that trim piece is also lifting pretty bad on both sides of the truck.

@Flex3269 I would have rejected this vehicle during delivery. But hey, damage is done.

Looking ahead now:

They *can* fix this by replacing the bad looking panels. Make sure you create the service request ASAP - ideally before reaching 100 miles.

Most service centers are not super knowledgeable about Cybertrucks STILL. Contrasting to my experience with my Model 3, service centers tend to be very inefficient with CT service requests, simply because they encounter things they’ve never seen before. In other words, don’t be shocked if they take multiple attempts to fix your problem.

Why did you accept this vehicle??? They have plenty of stock, wouldn't take more than a few days to get another one. Sorry, but huge mistake and huge time sink coming up.

You have 3days/100miles to identify anything you see wrong with the truck.. take a pictures and send to service via the app..

Tesla replaced the entire Drivers Door on my CuberTruck because they could not ‘buff out’ a deep scratch (most likely from the assembly plant or transpor… (entire left side of my truck had different kinds of scratches. On the Sail, CantRail and Door.. All of which they remediated over the course of two months) They also took the liberty to go over entire truck for other minor findings..

For the most part, the truck looked pretty good. There were a few other issues that I think were pretty minor that could be easily fixed by the service center, and I was just hoping that this was something that could be fairly easily fixed as well. I didn’t want to take a chance on getting another truck That might have even worse issues. ?‍♂

…not to mention my Interior Trim panels had tears, and squeaky Steering Wheel..

Tesla fixed everything.. no questions asked.

just make sure you identify everything ASAP within the grace..
