I have an appointment today and will.
Mine is at the service center today too. I have a handful of little things (identified during delivery), the windshield wiper issue is one of them. I don't anticipate them doing anything, tbh. I logged it so Tesla has data from my service appt.

Could Winter washer fluid just have a thicker viscosity fluid than Summer washer fluid, and the washer fluid pump is just that sensitive?
I think I will probably use "My wife's toothbrush" ? to clean all the holes on the wiper arm to see if that helps.
If that didn't do the trick, then I may plug the lower holes a bit on the wiper to see if it improves the upper holes spraying fluid.
May have to come up with a cleaning solution to pump in to & clean a buildup of washer fluid residue that resides in the wiper arm washer fluid supply line itself.
If it warms up a bit, I'd like to drain all the washer fluid out of my reservoir and put warm water into the reservoir to see how the water flow is without the thicker viscosity winter washer fluid.
By the Way, I did just have a service appointment at Tesla with this listed as an issue, and they compared it to the other Tesla cyber trucks on their lot and there was no difference in spray pattern, or amount of spray.

You’re right that the summer and winter mixes have different viscosity. Mine is full of summer and it’s still really bad. And the fact that they say it’s the same as the other cyber trucks tracks because they’re all shit.

As much as I hate to say it, this problem may be caused by a Software Update. My wipers worked just fine and sprayed wonderfully up until I brought it in for a service appointment and they replaced the control module up in the frunk area. The control module wouldn't have had anything to do with the wiper control or washer control but everything on this truck is computer and software controlled. I'm sure when they installed the control module they probably had to update the software for that control module and I do believe I may have gotten a software update right after getting my truck back (I don't remember what update it was though). But prior to my service appointment my washer fluid sprayed Fantastic! For my 7 months of ownership until that one service appointment, the entire wiper was spraying as long as I needed it to, every sprayer nozzle spraying about 2 inches out.
Then after that one service appointment, and Software Update, the bottom half of my wiper nozzles were able to spray One to one and a half inches out and the upper nozzles only a bare drizzle at best.
If you look at the wiring diagram, everything is controlled by control modules on this vehicle and control modules need software to control them.

I have the same issues. Had the truck in for service and elaborately explained that the problem is from a lack of fluid due to the blade moving too fast at the end of the blade for the fluid that is coming out to be effective. They put a new blade on that I didn't ask for and now I have a bill for it that I told them I'm not paying so we'll see where that goes.

I miss the old days when we could send a tweet to the CEO and have a software push by the end of the week to fix simple crap like this.

Edit:

Didn’t pay for the new blade. Which is good because it’s worse than the old blade and still can’t clean over the cameras.

This wiper issue is the only thing holding me back. Otherwise I'd buy with the current price and incentives. Really hoping Tesla finds a solution for this. Our local Facebook group in Quebec is full of people with the same issue.

I wonder if there's a way to calibrate the windshield washer pump in the software?
Since everything is run by control modules, and software controls the control modules actions, at some point I have to be able to control the amount of washer fluid that comes out through the software.

FYI, the 2025.2 firmware that is being rolled out now to Cybertrucks has a change in how the wiper sprays fluid. In short, it sprays both on the down and up swipe. The Cybertruck lead engineer (Wes) said on X that they've been testing it in Canada and it's worked well.

Someone posted a video of Chuck Cook showing this in action (4m 35secs into the video): https://www.cybertruckownersclub.co...ross-traffic-notification.37126/post-30514441

I also had my wiper motor and arm replaced a couple of weeks ago (wiper arm has part number revision E). I haven't experienced heavy salt slush since then but am hopeful between the fix in 2025.2 and the new wiper arm / motor, this will be fixed or at least much better.

On a separate but related topic:
  • When the Tesla Service Center replaced my wiper motor and arm, the last 1-2 feet of the blade was no longer spraying fluid.
  • I looked at the blade and they accidentally dislodged where the blade connects to the fluid port. I had to refit the blade onto the port.
  • Pic of where this connection is (after I fixed it).
  • Btw, it's obvious if this is disconnected because you'll see the rubber piece looks loose or detached from the wiper arm. Also, the blade attaches the same way on both sides.
