How much does the tint run? I am still waiting for mine, held up for the recall. But live in Az so tint is a must. 30% on the windshield seems like a lot no?
Windshield is pricey, you will see quotes from 500-1500 for JUSt the windshield, shop around some. 30% on windhsield may be dark for night driving etc

After years of lurking on this forum, I’m beyond thrilled to finally post as a proud Cybertruck owner! Three years ago, I reserved a Foundation Series but held off because the cost was just too steep at the time. Well, I crunched the numbers, God blessed me, and today I drove home in my very own AWD Cybertruck. Today was a dream come true!

The second I got behind the wheel I couldn’t stop smiling. Ive worked really hard to get to this point and it’s surreal. I’ve never owned a vehicle this nice. My wife’s Model Y is great, but the Cybertruck is on another level of cool (she thinks the CT is ugly as sin).

I’m planning a PPF wrap (gun matte gray) booked with Alset San Diego. As a new owner, I’d love to hear your advice. What are the must-have aftermarket accessories or mods you recommend? Anything from practical to styling I’m open to suggestions. What’s the one accessory you wish you’d gotten sooner? Also, any tips for tires and wheels? I want to go with something more aggressive but not totally impractical and was also considering some 50mm spacers but not sure.

Thanks for being such a great community and letting me get in her and be all giddy. I’m sure the magic had worn off to some degree for a lot of you OGs. Anyway I’m stoked to finally be part of the Cybertruck crew!

Cheers,

BMG

Welcome! I'm also in San Diego and got mine three weeks ago. My wife has been commenting on the never-ending stream of CT accessories coming in haha!

Here are my favorites:
- All weather floor mats (OEM are great, but not the only ones in town)
- Bed liner
- front and rear screen protectors
- bungees and straps in the sub-trunk
- Easy move L-track hooks ($24 for 12 that hold 4k lbs vs Tesla's 2 hext-key locked ones for $24)
- chains (expensive and haven't used them, but we go to Big Bear often enough and I don't think you'll be able to find them at a store when you need them)
- dog hammock for back seat
- liners! for: cupholders, phone charger, all door pockets, center console
- center console tray
- umbrella sun shade
- WM Bagster to keep the bed clean when hauling dirty stuff (only $30!)

Next up is going to be tint. I park outside for work and the car does get hot and some battery drain. Just a couple percent, but why waste the electrons? It looks better too

I really want the frunk Molle panels but I'm not willing to part with $250 for them.

I appreciate the info. I was half expecting it to be that high. Also want to get a wrap and I think those go for 6k ish? Maybe I can squeeze a wrap out of Tesla. I was supposed to take delivery on the 31st. Last day of their promotion. They are saying the changed the wrap promotion to free supercharging

Congratulations.
The Cybertruck design is masculine. Many people prefer more feminine lines and that's ok too.

Congrats. Hope your family loves it like mines. I've gotten a lot of accessories. Probably too many at this point. But here are the top I'd recommend.... there is a lot of protection to keep the truck looking nice!

1. Front and rear screen protectors
2. Truck PPF wrap with hydrophobic properties.
3. Ceramic window and windshield tint, roof shade too
4. Seat covers and arm rest cover
5. Frunk and Bed liner (I did a liner for the rear bumper and tailgate cap)
6. Frunk and bed hooks (good for groceries), nets for each is good too
7. Charging pad liner and cup holder liner
8. Lower front console organizer
9. All weather floor mats
10. Under rear seat protector
11. Child seat - seat protector (kids are messy)
12. Hard drive for sentry mode (adults are messy)
13. Gear locker divider
14. 50 amp electrical cord to 120 outlets and general extension cord - https://a.co/d/71mQxHs

Bonus- visor sunglasses holder. One is pink if your wife likes that color - https://a.co/d/fz5QFS7

I can keep going, but I'm sure that's more than enough.

Personally, we recommend our screen protector — it’s currently on sale for under $30, including tax!

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DK6QHT8N

Reduces fingerprints, glare, and reflections, especially with the white interior. A small upgrade for a cleaner, more comfortable drive.;)

Our screen protector is now on sale—get both front and rear for under $30! Try it out, and we’re sure you’ll love it!

I highly recommend this screen protector too. I bought it as well as another but ended up returning the other. Life is about making good choices

Anyone else notice a reduction in their FSD performance in the past week or so? Feels like my truck’s IQ went down 10 points. Tried recalibration of cams still not performing like it originally did. Missing exits it usually takes fine ect..
