My recommendation would be the rear camera cover from Abstract ocean. It keeps the water off the camera lens when it raining so you can actually see behind you.

I'm initially concerned about protection. Vandalism. Protecting the stainless steel etc. Then ...what are the best accessories to get? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a great idea but I went to web site and looks like a lot of bad reviews. I don't know whether the bad reviews are all for version 1 or 2. It looks like they have a version 3 coming out in a few months so I might wait for that.

V3 is not coming anytime soon; there's been almost a dozen iterations to improve on V2, but so far none have really hit the mark. I agree it's a Marmite product (that'll only resonate with Brits, not sure what the US equivalent would be, pickles in burgers, maybe??!) but it's love it or hate it. Honestly I think if it's installed correctly and not hit with a pressure washer, they do great, I've yet to have an issue from installing dozens of them.

My favorite accessory is the PPF wrap with ceramic coating + tint EVERYTHING. It's crazy how easy it is to clean.... but it was tough to let my truck go for a few days when it was brand new.

Doesn't the CT already come with a thumb drive like our Model Y?

Too small
Esp with Sentry running all the time
Drive change is $40
Easy to do

That's quite a list @kpanda17 , I've interspersed some thoughts of my own:

I'm intrigued with a windshield shade although it doesn't seem too necessary where I live in the PNW. My Cybertruck lives out-of-doors 24/7 so I would get one if I found one that was effective and easy enough to deploy/remove that I would actually use it. But the ones I've seen don't look worth it (to me).

I like all-weather mats in all my vehicles to contain water, snow and occasional mud. I'm happy with the function and looks of the mats that came with the Foundation Series but maybe there is something better out there.

For me, the Cybertrucks dual phone holders/wireless chargers are all I need. Less stuff is good.

My wife and I have had 5 Tesla over 8 years and have never felt any of the screens, front or back (when equipped) have needed protection. I can't say I've ever noticed a scratch on any of them. Time and money saved and I get to use a touchscreen without a plastic film on it.

It's only been a year but I can't say I see the need to protect the armrest. For sure, if you know you are particularly hard on interiors, them protect all the heavy wear areas.

I would definitely get a single drop-in tray for the center console if mine didn't come equipped with one.

I can't say I spill drinks enough to benefit from that. Sure, I did get a small coffee slosh in the cupholders and it was a little difficult to clean off the spill while leaving the OEM rubber liner in place, but it wasn't a big deal using a damp rag. The liner is difficult if you need to remove it to clean it.

Agree. But I like the net in the back of the bed to make small loads easy to load/unload.

I've been driving and road-tripping Tesla for almost 8 years without a CCS adapter. In the early years I can see the utility of that (even though I did fine without). However, the Supercharger Network has grown leaps and bounds since then, and a CCS adapter is less useful than it's ever been. I would need a very specific use case to want to complicate my life with third-party charge network accounts and software tools to find and select a CCS DCFC, inconsistent or unreliable chargers, etc. Superchargers are integrated into the center screen and the Nav System and can be counted on to work.

I feel better if I have a Mobile Connector when I'm on a trip but I've barely ever used it. For driving locally it's simply not needed.

I drive through all kinds of mud and winter road slop and don't really see the benefit. Sure, they keep a bit of it off the body panels but that's of limited benefit because your truck is still going to get dirty enough to need a wash eventually.

It's easier to plug and inflate a tire than it is to change a 100+ lb. wheel/tire. I just carry a plug kit and tire inflator for the rare chance that I might get a flat in a remote location. Spare tires were the rule back in the day, now I think they are overkill for a host of reasons.

The bed is super tough and damage resistant without additional protection. I haul a lot of stuff and think extra protection is only needed if you have a particularly problematic load, like sand, gravel, beauty bark, etc. in which case I would just line the bed area with a poly tarp.

In my opinion, OoS Detailing takes the chemicals too far. They don't seem to understand how to keep your truck looking nice with minimal work and without all the chemicals they recommend.

Good idea, but only if you want to remain connected in areas without cellular coverage or you need higher data bandwidth than cellular..

I pack stuff all the time and I haven't seen a floor bin that improves functionality (for my needs). I like keeping that area open for medium sized bags. I do wish the sides were an inch or so taller.

Definitely customize it to your own specific needs, keeping in mind that sometimes less is more.
Great second perspective
Thanks

Tinting the front windows with XPEL (the good stuff) was the best money spent. Less heat, more privacy and it makes the truck look really complete.

Everything else is less bang for the buck IMO.
Any vision issues at night ?
