Visible Glue on Roof - Normal?

I just took delivery of my CT and looking down from the roof just in front of the tonneau I see glue and a wide gap on each side, seems like there is a seal missing here or is this normal?

As you can probably see in my pics my passenger side is definitely more visible than driver side. It’s not visible unless you look from a very specific angle though.
