That's what I understood as well. And the primer at my SC was backordered but finally got an appointment for 7/8. So is this a new installation method on top of a new process?

I asked about that swap twice and both times the request was ignored. So don't hold your breath!

Got my email last week and have an install appointment on July 10. Nothing further from the SC about a delay or rescheduling.

I reached out to my SC today and they didn't have any information about a new design. Going in 7/8 for my lightbar install as scheduled.

Here is the screenshot of what the Tesla SC sent me on June 17th stating a hold on my light bar installation due to a new process coming out.

Since I received my invitation for the light bar on June 25th and this "new" hold just occurred about 2 weeks after your notice, I am thinking that it does not have anything to do with the adhesive changes. I guess we will have to wait and see what more of us experience over the coming days regarding light bar installs from the different service centers. My service center said this on July 3rd:
"Hello Greg, At this time we have information about light bars being on hold for a new revision."

Yea that’s what I am afraid of …..I am going to blow my fuse if I arrive and they give me some lame excuse.

Light bar was not the only service I had done, so probably not a good data point. The appointment was scheduled for 4.5 hrs.

"My Tesla service center said they’ll have new parts in August. There is a redesign. Hopefully it has brackets."
