Ventilated Seats Issue Fix / Workaround - They're better than you might think

May well give this a try once I pick her up this week.

I was out scouting pre-season yesterday and got back in the expedition (Which with leather seats also struggles to cool but is fine on heat) and found myself dreading the CT in the same circumstance (Getting back into it hot and sweaty after climbing up and down a mountain in hunting gear)

There is information to support a vacuuming versus exhaust for the Tesla ventilated seat system in the Cybertruck. Haven't found a definitive source yet. Either way, my felt experience with the 3d cushions spacer is night and day better.

I bought a $130,000 Mercedes s580 - and thought the cooled seats would work of course. Turns out these seats suck air in through the holes to @pull the heat away” - so the dealer said. So many cooled seats are not connected to the tubing of the a/c system. The seats in my Porsche 911 definitely works. Not sure if the cooled seat function is connected to the a/c tubing or not. Ridiculous that a top of the line Mercedes cooled seats is just a little computer fan sucking air through the seat perforations - and pulling the “heat “away.

Forgot to mention - on my 2025 corvette z06 - the cooled seats are connected to the A/c plumbing and you can definitely feel the cold air heating your bottom and back.

You guys are all wrong; Tesla designed these to be fart extractors rather than wafters.

Forgot to mention - on my 2025 corvette z06 - the cooled seats are connected to the A/c plumbing and you can definitely feel the cold air heating your bottom and back.

My ventilated seats weren't working

So I put a Dallas Cowboys sticker on them

and now they suck again

But that's not how cybertruck ventilation works on the seats - the air is pulled into the seat by a fan beneath it. Try it yourself: turn ventilation to max (3), put your hand under the seat from the back row and you will feel which direction the air is moving

So does this mean if you rip one in the drivers seat, it will be sucked in and directed towards the passengers in the rear? Oh man, I can't wait to try this out with my kids in the back. Im gonna put on the fart noises and tell them they updated the truck for a fully immersive experience like universal studios.
