Cybertrucks should be getting more, not less. I want my next one to have suicide doors and a top that disappears with the push of a button. Like my 63 Lincoln used to do.

Now just offer LSC01 on inventory AWD, and clear the queue. It sounds like AI5 hardware is coming in 4th quarter. You don’t want to be sitting on lots of inventory.
hopefully AI5 is just the computer, and not new sensors and wiring. Then maybe it’s just a $2k upgrade for AI4 owners.

I honestly thought this was Tesla's experimental offering for a Robotaxi Delivery oriented unit. Or Fleet sales. I could see how a very few personal truck buyers would get one due to the lower price/higher range but still have the Tesla brain, 4 wheel steering and steer by wire which are the standouts of the platform. May have been shelved for now, but might reappear later.

Not sure if removing a vehicle on a website is the same as “discontinuing”….
There's a button at the bottom of the Tesla website where you can pose questions to the Tesla Assist AI. I asked "Has the long range cybertruck been discontinued?" and got the following response:
Yes, the Cybertruck Long Range trim has been discontinued for new orders in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Mexico as of September 12, 2025. However, it is still available as inventory. Would you like to explore available inventory or schedule a test drive for a Cybertruck?
Oddly, it didn't mention Canada, but I checked the Canadian order page and the Long Range trim is gone there too.

The Cybertruck info page now lists specs for the Cyberbeast and AWD only. The RWD specs have disappeared down the same hole as the Range Extender specs.

AI5 should go into production at the end of 2026 according to Elon.

Trucks are not low volume… Trucks are the largest segment in the USA..

Electric Trucks simply are not selling as well as ALL OEMs were hoping they would.

I'm going to be super upset if its hard or nearly impossible to upgrade to Ai5/6 for my truck.

CyberTruck is a low volume vehicle. I think they should release one a tier above the beast, 130-150k range.
Hmm, let's think about this. So far, Tesla has released a single-motor CT, a dual-motor CT, and a tri-motor CT, with progressively higher prices at each tier.

If they wanted to add another, even more expensive tier, what would be the most logical move?
