That is not common for FSD - stop lying.

If you are serious, no replacement is going to fix those issues with FSD. They are known and common. It's part of helping Tesla develop the product.

I doubt anything is actually wrong with your CT.

Honestly, I'd be kind of grateful this happened, because if they washed off all the visible mud underneath, you might have taken that truck and you know there would be stuff in there still like sand in your ass at the beach. It never comes out. I think the 72 point inspection they said they did was 72 employees pointing and laughing.

Yes it is.

Riding on the line, numerous lane, wrong way are all commonly reported on the CT with FSD. It's due to the CT not having it's own stack for the lane drift and wrong way, but the lane change complaint is voiced from all owners on TMSC. That's just a preference, it doesn't indicate that anything is wrong with their computer. I've had 5 Teslas all with FSD, it's part of the process and it gets better with every version, but sometimes there's 2 steps forward, 1 step back.

"GPS drift issue where the truck looses it's location during Navigation + FSD and does a lot of unexpected unsafe crap (missed highway off-ramps, many random lane changes, turning the wrong way down one way streets, left turn signal activation while in the fast lane of a highway, rerouting me to get back on the highway I am physically already on every 30-45 seconds). "

90% of the above is not common, it is something with that particular CT.

What you mentioned is much more common, but not what the OP said.

For me the riding the left lane has gone away a long time ago - at least six months. Maybe because I kept nudging it over every time it did it and now it's learned? (no idea). Lane change is different in Dick vs Stoner mode. Dick mode prefers left lane hogging. Stoner prefers the right side lane with minimal overtakes. Like you said, it's just a preference. Mine never changes lanes randomly.

Wrong way is not common, yes it has been reported, but I don't think it's common. I've had it happen once - and it wasn't with oncoming traffic. I've driven with FSD exclusively pretty much for the last 10+ months, at least 8k plus miles on it and it's occurred once. I've been meaning to go to the same spot again to see if it does it again but haven't bothered.

I want it. Question though? Would you wrap it to match your truck?
Yes, it would have to be. At least you don't have to edge wrap as there are minimal panel gaps. Sharp gaps would not be good - I don't think anyone wants any "snagging".

More important questions - does it auto lock when you walk away? And is there a BAW?

And can it go through a touchless wash.

I was speaking to the FSD issues which are all common. Your anecdotes aren't relevant, there are multiple avenues where people posts about the wrong way (almost exclusive to the CT, which still occurs and for some repeatable depending on the road type) and lane drift, which a great majority report having. You nudging does nothing as the vehicle doesn't and can't "learn".

Those are common things with FSD that a computer replacement would not fix. I was addressing that. I didn't speak to the GPS issue.

I don't have a wrap, I love the stainless look. Altho I was considering wrapping it clear just because it is such a pain in the ass to keep clean. I can't see why you couldn't get a matching wrap tho.

And just think of the MODS... Rear view mirror - a true "rear" view. That frunk led thing when the lid opens, Molle panels to hang toilet paper. I could probably go on for another 20 minutes.
