How do you determine your build date?

This seems to be common knowledge to many on here. Where do you get this information?
I know my VIN, date of purchase etc
Asking because the terrestrial armor package apparently now requires you to specify whether it was before 12/24 or not.
It just came back in stock fairly briefly and I ordered it not knowing, but now I’m concerned I may have ordered the wrong version.
Anyone know the difference between the versions also?

The sticker in the driver's side door jamb has the month/year build date.

I think the change is in the front plate, possibly related to the improvement in frontal crash performance.

Are you looking for the specific day? Month/year should be available on the build tag. IIRC, that’s on the drivers side door jam.

Thank you. I’ll look there. Not sure what I’m going to do if I picked the wrong option since I already paid them the $3500 but now it’s says out of stock again.

Uh oh. My build date is 09/24 but I picked the option for build date after 10/24.
The shop happily took my money and didn’t say there were any compatibility issues.
Think I’ll just call the SC scheduled to do the install in the morning and attempt to have them sort it out before it ships since the store says “out of stock” again.
Anyone got a better suggestion?

I’m actually kind of sweating this now. I obviously chose the wrong date range. Shouldn’t they be the ones to determine the best part for the VIN though?

Not surprised the shop doesn’t confirm build date when ordering.

Price includes installation. Did you get a service appointment notification in the app yet? If so, send a message to the service team about getting the right parts.

No recall. The previous version wasn't unsafe, but the new version is better.

That kid of corporate lingo worries me but there isn’t a thing I can do about it now.
By the standard of the day a pinto wasn’t unsafe either

Sounds like the cutoff date is 12/10/24 for the new front plate btw. I n case anyone is wondering.

Interesting. When they installed mine they replaced the HV Battery Rear Skid Plate With Updated Part and was listed in my invoice(no charge for the updated part). I wonder if that’s the reason for the build date needed. Lucky they had this new part in stock but I did see others having to wait for this new part before there package install was complete. My build date was before 12/24
