I am sure you guys know this already or mentioned already, but free SC replaces Powershare. So, early FS buyers have that. Later FS buyers do not…instead we get SC for free.
Yup, we got the PowerShare. We have solar so that’s far more valuable to us than supercharging.

So, by show of hands, how many of you would pay Tesla $10k to add the luxe package to your FS car now?
Let’s say they were generous and gave that discount off of $15k for the relatively trivial cost of premium connectivity.
I think 10k is too steep for it. If it were 5k or under I'd consider it.

Tesla made the Luxe Package mandatory for the top-tier Cyberbeast Cybertruck in August 2025, increasing its price by $15,000 to $114,990, which includes Supervised Full Self-Driving, lifetime free Supercharging and Premium Connectivity, and a four-year premium service plan.

CT CB base price now costs $115k with Luxe. It used to cost $100k before Luxe package became mandatory.
I also don't think you're factoring in the top tier FS CB was $120k+, not $100k. Ask me how I know. lol. So based on the math and current pricing, Tesla owes me lifetime supercharging and $5k. I'll take cash or check lol.

I reject the premise that that’s what the cost is or should be. They set the price with the $2000 for previous model X owners. All of this is academic and the price is basically arbitrary, the salient point is: Why are other purchasers offered the opportunity to add lifetime supercharging and those whose shoulders they rested upon to launch this vehicle and the only ones who have really supported them with the CT being fucked? [if that’s too dramatic for you you can say “getting disparate treatment” in your head.]

That’s the question. I’ve moved on from they should do something FOR us to, why are they doing this TO us?

We’re past the point of (where we began this discussion sometime back), oh it would be nice if they did this but they probably won’t to - I can’t believe they’re doing this for every Tom, Dick and Harry and leaving us in the dust!

Again, you can take your most fervent supporters and treat them however you want, but, actions have consequences.

It’s a good thing they’re no longer going to be a car company. Having done it three times before 3/Y/CT (not to mention late adopting S/X) I will never buy another Tesla early in the cycle. I reciprocate the exact level of respect that I’m given. Always.

I'm with you on the I'd never be an early adopter again either at this point. At least give us an option to purchase what everyone else has or is getting.

Hold on, what?! Lifetime supercharging doesn't disable powershare, you just have to pay to install it on your home if you want it. Which isn't much different from the measly credit they gave which was vastly under the average quote to install it.

FS Cyberbeast didn't just get Powershare credit but they also got powershare install credit AFAIK which was valued at $4000 or something like that. Plus you got the lightbar ~$2500.

This compared to the $100k+ for the FS AWD, doesn't really excuse the difference for the CB vs. AWD FS.

I didn't get any PowerShare credit or install credit. I got a $2500 voucher for crap I didn't really need (other than a new wall charger) but my head will be warm this winter with my CT wool hat I ended up ordering. lol.

We’re never getting that money back people. It was a good time though.
Think of the foundation series tax as money you blew at the casino, or the strip club or on a cruise or whatever you blow your money on and I think you will all be happier.
I don’t regret any money I’ve spent on the above or the foundation series.
I did want feee supercharging but I basically bought that separately.

You’re focusing on the wrong thing. And let me tell you how Vegas was built as someone who lives here. It’s the principle is simple and it was done by the thing that Tony Shea later coined as “delivering happiness.” You came to gamble and we gave you so much more. That’s how we built this little wide spot in the desert into what it has become.

This is the way!

So, every time you, myself, or anyone else talks about the FACT that we got exactly what we bargained for, you are missing the point. Apple knew this which is why they would take your computer and fix it even if it was out of warranty or replace your headphones or Steve Jobs would just respond to emails from rando’s to deliver joy to make you feel that you’re part of the team and the bigger mission. Elon adopted exactly one of these behaviors via twitter.

I am an unimportant cog in the wheel and someone who may be able to provide some cash in a transactional arrangement where I shall say “please and thank you” and step back after my shitty delivery experience. Trust me, I got the message.

Each and every one of you who is perfectly fine with that may continue to be perfectly fine with that throughout all eternity.

I shall vote with my wallet.

We ordered our FS Beast in March of 2024 and got the PowerShare hardware and $4k installation. Our install came in under the $4k and with the solar we already have it was a great deal.
I'm saying I prefer the deal Tesla gave us with the PowerShare over the Supercharging option. The Cybertruck was our first Tesla and even we were aware that Tesla has all kinds of incentives on their new cars and refreshes.

I don't understand the complaining on this thread. If the current incentive isn't to your liking just wait for the next one.

Oh no I wasn't expecting any money back or anything for free, it would be a great gesture if they gave FS free supercharging, but I don't expect anything at all, I would however like the option to purchase the luxe package or something similar so I am up to par with all the others out there.

I hope you’re not in the business of selling anything. Because, your “not getting it” is not the flex that you think it is.

“Flex” are we 12?

I’m simply saying Tesla is known for cycling through incentives and people should wait for what works best for them. I truly don’t understand the complaints.
