I’ve been using my home charger for my Teslas (Model 3, then Y, now Cybertruck) since 2019 with no issues, including well over a year of incident free charging on my FS CT. A couple of months ago during regular nighttime charging the amperage setting switched from my 40 amp setting up to 48 amps, triggering the 50 amp breaker. I sent a service notice to Tesla: they said it’s an electrical issue. I brought a licensed electrical over and he said everything is functioning properly. I opened the wall charger and reset everything. Still doing the same thing. My charging rates have quadrupled since I now have to charge at Superchargers every other day. Any suggestions? I’m at wits end.
