I've considered signing up for AAA if I ever needed roadside assistance.

Unless Tesla's roadside service is cheap.
Good sam road side assistance is considerably cheaper the AAA. They have a 50% off deal now and you can sign up and pay in full for 3 years.

Bought a bottle jack and a take off wheel on eBay. I’ll just change the flat myself. I carry the spare in the bed.

So…do you patch it on the car or do you jack, remove wheel, patch and reinflate and replace the wheel?
I carry Tire Plugs Glue Tread and a Compressor and always plug my tire Punctures unless it’s a sidewall tear or puncture then use Glue Tread to get you home or to the nearest Service Station to replace your tire.

The eBay seller I bought this used factory takeoff wheel, tire and TMPS with under 1,000 miles on it, for $450 + $60 shipping & tax, he has them availble on occasion (he is in Atlanta, and ships quickly via Fedex) keep your eye on this seller, that I bought mine from
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_ssn=niyek_ev&store_name=niyek&_oac=1&_trksid=p4429486.m3561.l161211

https://www.ebay.com/itm/336286388209
" Tesla Cybertruck Factory 20" CORE Wheel / Factory Pirelli Scorpion ATR T0 "

I plan to just rotate this spare tire into the mix, as I rotate the tires, so all 5 wear evenly.
I could not see spending $1250 from Tesla.

I also bought the Spare Tire cover from RPMTesla
https://www.rpmtesla.com/products/d...1&_sid=1cc316061&_ss=r&variant=43923275743286

I then bought the same Fantik S9 from Amazon, was pricey, but I use it for other tires as well, since it has auto shutoff, and is easier than using my Harbor Frieght cheapo compressor, bought it on sale for $160
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CQK4SRD8?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

for a jack, I bought one with a built in Jackstand, yes, it's only 3-ton rated, but I am only changing one wheel. I actually bought 2 of these, so I can rotate my own tires, in my garage:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GJJZ5NI?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

I bought an inexpensive 120V 1/2" electric impact wrench from Harbor Freight, I already have a set of impact rated sockets, I paid $80, but now its on sale for $60, didn't want to depend on a battery for a once in a blue moon use tool, so AC from the Cybertruck will always work, this is for removal of lug nuts only.
https://www.harborfreight.com/85-amp-12-in-impact-wrench-with-rocker-switch-64120.html

I have an older 24" Torque Wrench, which I keep in the sub trunk as well (to tighten to the correct torque spec) Oh I also bought a tire repair kit, becasue they are inexpensive at $20, but that is just insurance

I was a Boyscout, their motto is "always be prepared" :)

Yes, I probably spent $1250, but its a custom designed kit, that I can use for tire rotations, and to inflate other tires as well, and the spare will end up getting more life on the set of original tires, by being rotated into the mix (it is the exact SAME Pirelli that my dual motor Cybertruck came with in August) I am good with this solution, for me.

New Cybertruck owner of only a week. I hadn't really thought about this until I picked up the Cybertruck and noticed there is no spare.
It's not like you can carry a donut :). What does one do if you have a flat? Will AAA do anything? Would you have to get a tow?
I invested in the Cybertruck spare tire and wheel kit. It comes with a bottle jack and a full-size wheel and tire (that you can use to also replace a worn out tire - so you only have to buy three next time).
I highly advise in getting this and keeping it in the pickup bed. Tie downs are included!

I carry a Full Size Spare on My Hunting Rigs but a Full Size Spare weighs too much and takes up too much valuable real estate for daily driving IMO. Maybe for Overlanding. I stick with a good compressor and Plug / Sidewall Patch Kits for daily use. It’ll get you home.

Have you, or anyone else here, actually changed a tire with the Tesla wheel kit that comes with it? As a fairly strong, but not that strong, woman, I have my doubts I could get the lugs off let along lift the tire out of the bed and manage to change it. So what other tools would I need to actually be able to change a tire? Is the jack good enough that comes with it? So maybe I need, what, to get the lugs off and put back on to the proper torque? I was off-roading the other day, not as the primary purpose, but to get to a place where some rare birds were being seen. Rough road. Truck did great but no AAA is coming to rescue me there if I were to damage a tire that a repair kit couldn't fix.

I bet you could do it but I keep a Milwaukee m18 impact driver in my truck with an attachment which I believe Abstract Ocean sells that’s perfectly sized for the wheels.

Q: How many Aggies does it take to change a flat tire?
A: Two.
One to pour the drinks, and one to call Roadside Assistance

I have a HPA tank and a plug kit in the model 3.. I have a off road nitrogen power tank in the cybetruck and a plug kit. I'm probably going to get 2 spares, keep one on board and rotate the spares in and out during tire rotations.

With the raptor, pro eagle jack and N2 tank I could use an air impact to change tires. However, I lucked out on that one... Only needed to plug and air up but helped someone who destroyed a couple wheels in the dirt with theirs..

On the CT, no spare, one spare or two load outs will depend on where I am going.

The metal handle rope plug kits like Sherco-Auto Tire Plug Kit 65 Piece kits are what you want.

If a tire gets 2 plugs in a area where patches are OK then I take it in for a patch.

If it gets a puncture on the side I plug and only gingerly drive to a tire shop or home to put on a spare and get a new tire.
