Interesting! Pretty good! But no off-road capabilities unless the coil spring is set high clearance from factory and unless the pics havent been added, it doesn’t look like it…

So it sacrifices adaptive air suspension and some quality on the interior and bed. What else?

Looks like no premium audio, possibly no second row screen, no bed lights or storage under bed?, cheaper seats, less towing capacity, no air suspension and I think that’s it?

No one should be surprised by this move -- if they read this previous thread from September 2025 right here at Cybertruckownersclub.com:

Could Tesla offer an "AWD Lite" CT in 4Q 2025?

In theory, Tesla could offer an “AWD Lite” CT with some or all of the RWD features. Potential advantages of this approach:
  • Low development costs, because all of these lower-cost features have already been designed and produced for the RWD.

  • An “AWD Lite” could be offered at a lower price than the traditional AWD ...

  • An “AWD Lite” would still have two motors and AWD, so it would offer the same performance as the traditional AWD (where the RWD fell short).
The RWD didn’t sell. But a higher-performance “AWD Lite” could be a more attractive way to offer a more affordable CT.

Damn. Nice! Wonder what performance change CT lost to change tow capacity. Is 4.1 60s time a little slower too?

I think they did a great job with $60k AWD model here vs. the terrible $70k RWD config.

So compared to current AWD @ $80k. This is what the $20k extra "Premium" pays for
- Air Suspension
- Textile Seats / No Cooling
- No heated steering wheel
- No White Trim
- Standard Console (vs. Premium)
- No Cabin Outlets
- No Premium Audio (7 speaker vs. 15), No Active Noise cancellation
- No Rear Display
- Standard Bed Lamps vs. Full length bed lamps
- No L-Tracks
- No Gear Locker / Vault
- Standard Tail lamps (probably no red light bar in the tail gate)
- 7500 lb vs 11,000 lb towing
- 2006 lb vs 2500 lb payload
- 18" Wheels vs 20" Core Wheels
- 4680 Dry Cathode batteries (supercharging speed is different, 132 miles/15min vs 137/15 on the premium AWD)

Not sure about heated mirrors?

Am I missing anything, or get something wrong?
