Damn. Nice! Wonder what performance change CT lost to change tow capacity. Is 4.1 60s time a little slower too?
same as the premium AWD.

November 22, 2019 reservation holder here. I placed my $59,990 order as soon as I read the news. I was shocked to read that the price includes AWD and tonneau cover.

I also received the $1k sales incentive bringing the price down to $58,990.

Being patient finally paid off!!! Cybertruck sales are about to skyrocket thanks to this new price point.

Just because a vehicle doesnt have air suspension doesn’t mean it can’t go off-road
Yes that is correct, but 8.5” is barely more than most Crossover vehicles….so my point is that without the ability to raise it to the High 12.5-16”(Extract) setting, you are gonna bottom out on a lot of terrain, if you go do any type of off-roading besides driving on a dirt road….

That's the reason for lift kits and the option for larger tires.

You aren’t wrong….just saying the air suspensions gives you the best of both worlds without sacrificing range and handling at highway speeds if you lift it and put heavy larger tires on the truck. A permanent lifted Cybertruck with big ass mud tires will loose 15% range.

There is a very interesting alpine speaker upgrade available. Very tempted to get that done but the stock speakers are more than good enough.
where is this upgrade option?

Update:

This price may possibly last for only 10 days according to Elon Musk??

New Dual Motor AWD Cybertruck is now available to order in the US!

https://www.tesla.com/cybertruck/design#overview

This is the most affordable Cybertruck yet.

Starts at $59,990
– Dual Motor AWD
- 325 mi of range
– Powered tonneau cover
– 7,500 lb towing capacity
- 0-60mph: 4.1s
– Bed outlets (2x 120V + 1x 240V) & Powershare capability
– Coil springs w/ adaptive damping
– 325kW max charging speed
– Heated first-row seats w/ textile material that is easy to clean
– Steer-by-wire & Four Wheel Steering
– 6’ x 4’ composite bed
– Towing capacity of up to 7,500 lbs
– Powered frunk
- Durable textile interior
- 18’’ Wheels with all-season tires
- Same 18.5" center display as other tires. No 9" rear screen

Differences in the new $59,990 dual-motor AWD Cybertruck trim vs. the $79,990 Premium AWD trim:

• 7,500 lb towing capacity (11k lbs on Premium trim)
• 2,006 lbs payload (down from 2,500 lbs)
• Coil spring suspension with adaptive damping (vs air suspension)
• 18" wheels (instead of 20")
• Textile seats (vs premium interior)
• Heated front seats only (no ventilation)
• 7-speaker sound system (instead of 15-speaker premium system)
• No 9.4" second-row display
• No two 120V cabin power outlets
• Bed with motorized tonneau cover (instead of the Vault bed)
• Standard bed and tail lamps instead of premium lighting
• No L-track cargo rails
A 10 day discounted price is a playing a stupid game. The price is at a point where it might actually save the Cybertruck from the BEV scrapheap. All too typical of Elon to be playing this silly game unless of course he really doesn't care and simply needs to do a quick 10 day dump of materials/components originally destined for the RWD CT and the slow selling DM.

Trying to guess Elons methodology and motivations is an exercise in futility ... but speculate we do ...

Or it's actually a really nice game for those who wanted something cheaper, they now know they better buy soon to get the intro price. I know if I wanted the basic version I'd be happy to get a temporary lower price.

You have incredible patience! This is a great deal. Excited for you and others who will now be pulling the trigger who were before priced out.

This will likely now also be a turning point for haters - as I believe many haters out there were actually just original fans disgruntled about the elitist price.

Who wants to tell all of your friends for years “ check out this crazy truck up at a reservation on!!!” Only to not be able to afford it and have to pretend it’s not because of price. Bad feeling.

Even if it was a good deal for what you got (a sports car, plus work horse, plus comfortable SUV all in one), 80-120 is a good chunk of change for the average American.
