Yes it only tows 7500 compared to 11,000 but do we think it’ll tow my 4,000lbs camper the same distance if it’s same route/conditions? I just have a hard time believing it wouldn’t be more taxing in the battery and it’d go the estimated 140miles

Yeah, should have similar range. Might be slightly worse without auto leveling and height adjustment, but the trailer is the dominant effect.

I've towed 7500 open car hauler 10k miles. The area makes a big difference. Flat 10 is better than Tennessee mountains. Stay at 65mph helps alot. I towed a 3000 rv trailer. I got over 200 compared to 150 range. But I increased speed to 70+.

Not sure why the dual motor AWD has same rating as the RWD. I always thought the RWD was 7500lbs because was missing the front motor. Now I think it may be the springs.

It doesn't make any sense (to me).
LR's rear axle capacity was better than Beast with All Season tires. AWD's payload (identical to LR even though it's carrying an extra drive unit and bed cover) is higher than Beast with AS tires.
Drive units and brakes are the same as premium AWD.
So why a lower towing rating?

Speaking of Beast AS, it can't tow an 11k trailer with 10% tongue weight and Tesla max pin to ball receiver without a weight distribution hitch. So WD hitch should be fine for AWD and offset the tongue weight induced front axle unloading.
