Just got back from a 10 day trip with the CT. The truck charged at home with no problem in prep for the trip but after returning home I plugged it in to charge. It was at 17%.
No charging, the charger is flashing blue twice, instead of green. When NOT plugged in the charger is a steady green. After plugging the charger into the CT, the truck led inside the charge port lights up blue, then goes out.
The message is "charging equipment is not recognized "
I tried the portable AC charger and it works.
We had a crazy snow storm while we were gone and the charging handle is outside but facing down. I am thinking that it *could* possibly be corroded so I am wondering how to clean the inside of the NACS plug.
Step one, SHUT OFF THE BREAKER.
Step two, _________ fill in the blank if you can..?
I shut the breaker off to reset the charger...several times, still not working.

NEA, not electrical advice.

This is easily solvable with your wallet, specially the credit card inside it. Joking aside, older wall chargers have a reset button on the side of them. Not sure about a UWC tho. But This issue sounds like the communication pin ( the small one of the 3) isn’t getting a good connection. If you was to clean one, that would be where I’d start.

Two blue blinks indicates a configuration issue with the wall connector. Maybe connect to it and check the settings?

I am leaning that way also but how do I clean that? Dust blaster? Pipe cleaner? I am thinking a tooth pick would be a bad idea since it could break off and be stuck inside.

On the truck side prolly just a tooth pick. On the charger side maybe a pipe cleaner or bread tie / paper clip wrapped in napkin of sorts. Definitely not something that could break off. If something is stuck inside there it won’t be fun digging it out.

I like the paper clip idea, since I don't have pipe cleaners or an dust blaster.

Per the light sequence, it doesn't seem like a communication to vehicle issue.
I think the Wall Connector doesn't want to charge the truck, so the truck is saying "I'm connected to something, but it doesn't work"

I found some air brush cleaning brushes at harbor freight and tried them, did not work. very bummed. going to try another hard wired charger at my nephews house. I will be stopping at the Tesla SC near my house first, see if they have a better idea.

Issues there should be a different fault code.
If they are loose, the terminals will likely show it.

Yea that center one is nasty, another idea, roll up some super fine sandpaper and twist it around a few times.

New charger on the way. Started a diagnostic check online and it did not have my symptoms in the drop down window. Turns out the button was showing repeated pressing, while not touching the handle.
So, now I get to wait 10 days for it to arrive from California instead of allowing me to pick up one at the SC 5 miles from my house. Oh well, at least it is not costing me money... Oh wait, I have to pay at a super charger for the next ten days.

Well, that didn't last long. Getting incorrect messages when trying to charge from home, same as last time. It says no power to the charger but it is on the light is green, it just doesn't charge for about 15 minutes then started charging. Starting to fall out of love with my CT.
