One of my biggest gripes with the CyberTruck is the lack of an air compressor in the bed of the truck, like the Rivian R1T. Luckily I have found a compact solution. For anyone looking for something to inflate your tires, sports balls or bike tires I did a review of the Lasfit Air Inflator. Hope this helps those like me who have this need. Thanks

probably overkill, but I love my milwaulkee M18 inflator. It's easier that messing with long hoses so I'm not sad the CT didn't have the integrated one.

I was using a ryobi cordless air inflator previously but I like how compact this one is. Plus I charge this one inside the truck with usb c

Yeah, I love my DeWalt. It has a set and forget usage, so I can move on to something else while it fills. No fiddling with pencil gauges or guessing. It also works to fill volume things like bedding and inflatables.

I did run it out of battery last road trip, but it also runs directly on 12v.

Yeah, but compact ones will have a lower volume limit due to heat, as well as battery, limite. A truck tire has alot of volume.

You are correct this inflator will not be able to fully fill all 4 tires as it doesn’t have the capacity. But for my usage which is just topping them off and filling some sports balls and bike tires this will do the job just fine. Overall I am happy with it so far

It would be much better to get an Onboard Air System - OBA. Than the Cybertruck would be like it was supposed to be at the 2019 reveal

I plan to put a Milwaukee packout in the bed with an inflator and drill, among other things. Overkill for sure since Im not a contractor. Just an IT dad with more money than sense.

Just share a link, everyone wants to post YouTube videos to get some sort of views and following. I don;t want to sit through a video to figure out what it is. Post a link and if it looks useful I'll buy.

Didn’t post the link and code as I thought that would be worse than posting the video. I’ll post both moving forward.

Thanks.

I went with this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H6Q9XWF

Fits nicely on top of the mobile charger in the smugglers bay, with outer slots still available for other items. Reasonably quick (took me about 2 minutes to inflate from ~20 to 50 psi), not as loud as the reviews suggest, and has all the attachments included. It puts out enough volume to (sort of) blast dust out of cavities, but not nearly as much as a tanked compressor would - I wouldn't try to sweep your garage with it!

I did have one issue - my initial one failed during the first use. Amazon replaced it, and this one has been no problem. So I'd recommend testing them for a bit to confirm no infant mortality before relying on them in the wilderness!

This solution makes sense for a truck that has electrical outlets. No need to pay extra for a battery pack.
