If you succeed, please send a photo of the installation.
I'm going to print it this week and post pics. Thanks for sharing the STL!

I've reworked the shape so that the part doesn't interfere with the autopilot or obstruct visibility. Yes, I can give you a printable file.
To install on the right side, you'll need to mirror the part.

The short part is installed underneath, and the long part is installed above the camera. If you succeed, please send a photo of the installation.
So I printed them and they are a nice design, I just wasn't able to use them. The gap on top and side of both my camera is too tight to even slide the thin piece in, thank you for sharing the file though, I appreciate it.

Can you send a photo of the resulting gap? I think I could bend it a little with a tool and insert the part into the gap. What is the nozzle diameter on your 3D printer?

A situation has arisen where not everyone can install this part. I hope you can.

Sure, I'll send a pic when I get home from work. I used a 0.4 nozzle for the print. The part it self is about 2mm thick, I want to say my gap is at most 1mm or less. I tried gently pushing on the opposite side of the camera housing and also nudging the wheel plastic a bit to get some space to slide in. I didn't want to knock the camera out of position or break something so I didn't do it too hard.

There is nothing wrong with the print, its the variances on how each truck is built, my cameras just happen to be placed very tight to that top corner.

It's amazing, we managed to install everything on several trucks.

I am sure I can make it fit if I used a plastic pry tool or something to make the space wider, I just don't want to risk damaging anything, I might try just putting it on with some strong double sided sticky tape - if it falls off I'll just print a new one.

You can't break it, the connection is very strong.

Same here. I popped my camera out of place trying to install these. The gap at the fender is not wide enough for the 3d printed part. Nice idea. 💡

@Cosmos78 I forgot to post the pic.. this is what both of my cameras space looks like. You can see it is tighter to the top and side than the bottom. Im sure i can force it in but I dont want to chance it.

Wouldn't putting a hood over the cam create an area of negative pressure in the wind stream? Wouldn't that ATTRACT smutz? IMO that is why the fender cams get so gunked up so quickly as is. The B pillar cams stay pretty clean. Too bad the Nav system doesn't use them as a substitute for a gunked up fender cam.

Has anyone experimented with something that would direct MORE air past the camera in the theory that such a flow would keep it cleaner? The rear camera seems like it could really use this. Just a small scoop that directs air over the camera. Not sure if harnessing the Venturi effect would be helpful or not.

I'll prob install those side & rear cam washers before next winter should nothing better materialize. Might go with that rear mirror monitor tied to an added cam above the Tonneau as well.

You have enough space, I think you can do it. :)

That sounds interesting, I think we can come up with something for the rear camera. But the side cameras are a different story. On the Model 3, the side cameras never get dirty; they're mounted differently than on a truck. Try my side camera parts; you'll like the results. I posted a 3D model in the comments.

And this is how I installed the rearview camera, and it's a big help, especially when hauling large cargo in the back.

For it to work, it is necessary to implement a proper stall of the oncoming helicopter flow.
