Yes, cellular always showed it was working, only Premium services were unavailable.

This morning
I re-booted before driving and that's all it took! For now, it appears the messages saying I need Premium Connectivity to use streaming music are gone. And my satellite maps are back!

I should have though of re-booting myself but I rarely do a re-boot on the Cybertruck. In 2018 I remember re-booting my Model 3 every few weeks to fix little software issues.

Thanks for that!

your welcome……..😜

I lost my Premium Connectivity again today in my FS CT. Like last time, it popped up a message asking if I wanted to upgrade to Premium Connectivity. When I clicked it it took me to software upgrades where it said No Upgrades Available.

This looks to be the same problem I fixed recently with a re-boot. So I did a rolling re-boot (because I was already driving to my destination). However, unlike last time, it didn't fix the issue. But last time I did a stationary re-boot, maybe that's more thorough?

I had a software update ready to install (2026.2.9.3) so when I reached my destination I installed it. The Release Notes said minor fixes. On the short drive home (10 minutes) it looked like the Premium Connectivity was working again (unless it was just playing buffered music from the wi-fi at my destination).

I'm hoping this recent software update addressed this issue.

Followup:

I think I tracked the problem down to one of Driver Profiles. I use multiple driver profiles depending on the task, off-roading, highway cruising etc. It seems that an upgrade to a new phone somehow got me on the wrong driver profile (and Premium Connectivity seems to not be linked to one of my driver profiles. Selecting my normal driver profile seems to have fixed the problem. I wonder if I can link the problem profile such that it recognizes Premium Connectivity? It's a profile that I created while outside cell coverage for off-roading. I suppose I should just delete it and create another (while having cellular coverage).

That's... interesting...
Premium should be tied to the truck, not a profile.
Does the profile have a hot spot setting/ remain connected in drive?

I haven't been using a mobile hotspot recently but I believe the problem profile was configured for wifi to remain connected in drive. But there was no wifi connection, only cellular, when the problem occurred.

Yes, this did happen to me. Nearly identical situation, 2020 m3, expired, etc. But mine came right back after one frustrating drive. Dunno
