Vandalized hood, any idea how to get this out? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

I don't even know how they did this but seems like they wrote something on my hood. Anybody know how I can get this out?

Seriously, I was raised to respect other people’s property. End of story.

I don’t give a f what your political beliefs are. Don’t touch me my family or my personal belongings.

It blows me away that we live in a world where this is normalized behavior today and we actually have to lose sleep over it.

These sort of folks complain about human rights violations, etc., etc., but yet don’t have the basic decency not to vandalize somebody else’s hard earned property. Unreal.

BKF should do the trick.

BKF will work. However, I would be cautious in that you will have a hood that is a different color a.k.a. Patina than your front fender, bumper, etc. etc. whatever you do to the hood you may have to do the entire vehicle. Just keep that in mind.

It’s the same reason that Tesla microsands the entire side of the CT if they have to replace a door, a cantrail, etc.

Possibly hand sanitizer on their finger? BTW a properly prepared and installed ceramic coating might’ve prevented or at least slowed down the damage.

Just finished applying ceramic to my entire truck, including SS, plastic bumpers, tonneau and ALL windows (exterior only). Based on that experience, one must be careful with BKF and Windex. That technique works great for light surface prep such as before doing Ceramic coating. However, over polishing and buffing can make SS surfaces too shiny without removing deeply imbedded or set in problems.

Ever looked at Tesla Service manuals? They are all online. Just keep in mind they are intended for “trained professional technicians” only, not DIY. The one at this link could address your issue (OR make it worse if improperly applied):

Negan is my spirit animal. And actually my favorite character. He wasn't evil. He did the best he could with the hand he was dealt. His arc was the best.

My 2nd favorite character was Maggie's hips carrying a holster.

And yes, if you feel compelled to damage someone else's property, you will be dealt with accordingly.

Where is that and what orientation?
It seems like too good of penmanship for the upside-down angle it's at and might be from manufacturing where someone noted an issue (see also the line next to it).

Your “vandalized hood” says “Roller Marks” which is very possibly from the factory during manufacturing, a Tesla employee wrote that. Maybe it is best to have Tesla correct it for free under warranty by going on the app and making a service appointment.
