For those of you who had this recall done do you know if it entailed both front/rear half shaft bolt replacement. I have an impending appointment for the off road light bar brackets and they added this to my service request. Trying to gauge if this is a quick fix I can wait for at service.

All four bolts get replaced and torqued, that takes 0.48 hours.
Worst case, all four half shafts and hubs are also replaced, with total book time of 3.3 hours.
FWIW, my hubs were fine.

Is this issue Only relevant for cyber beast owners or premium all-wheel-drive owners as well?
What symptoms were you guys seeing that let you know that this was the issue?

I had no symptoms at all. Just a straight recall on this one.

Both
If your hubs make a grinding noise, you have the issue.
New one time use bolts have thread adhesive to prevent backing out.

I literally had the exact same thing done yesterday, they added it to my ticket too. It's quick if they just replace the bolts and the hubs are good.

I had the exact service (light bar recall) for my beast, Tesla used windshield adhesive for my second light bar (prior service) and when I brought my beast in for the brackets they no longer replace the entire light bar with brackets for any service that has used the new and improved adhesive, service said it is too difficult to remove a glued light bar, ends up breaking the windshield, besides my glued lightbar has been fine for close to a year now, and survived my >100mph tests. But they did replace the bolts that showed up on my service note also, that took about an hour to replace. No idea if they were front, back or both, I didn't ask........

My lightbar has been holding well; just need the brackets for peace of mind. Not doing the cantrails; mine are on pretty solid and aligned.

Thanks for the diagnostic noise to look out for. Although mine’s getting bought back, I’ve been tracking a front passenger wheel grinding noise that seems to be getting worse. During the pendency of the buyback, they are still conducting warranty repairs on my vehicle so I’ll bring it up to them.

Thank you again.

The adjustment of the increased torque spec was from at least a year ago when my rear axle broke on the Rubicon, unless this is something newer.
