Lock Confirmation Sound

Under boombox, lock sounds there is a drop down box. In the picture it shows USB. If you drop down there are regular lock sounds.

Is that not what you are looking for in your current build?

No, I’m looking for the regular chime that happens when using “Walk-Away Door Lock”. Per the Cybertruck manual…

When the vehicle locks, the exterior lights flash once. To also sound a confirmation chime when Cybertrucklocks, touch Controls > Locks > Lock Confirmation Sound.

I don’t have “Lock Confirmation Sound” under Locks but all my previous Tesla’s had that option.

Updated: This option appeared in the 2024.14.3 update. You can turn it on if boombox is off

I think they added this in 2024.14.3, but I can't enable it, I see the option now though.

Someone told me if you disabled boombox lock sound it enables it.

Yes I just tried this, disabling boom box lock sound let's you enable it.

Actually it's not a horn lock, it's a new Cyber sound, only way I can describe it. I like it.

Exactly, same on my y, the lock sound has to be disabled in toybox /boombox. If it’s enabled in boombox with some custom sound, then it’s grayed out in locks menu

Yeah no lie it's so so way too loud lol. Mine is keep summer safe from Rick and Morty not sure if you watch the show. Anyways we went out to a mall earlier today and we're probably 30 yards in the truck and it basically blasted over a PA the entire parking lot keep summer safe lol

I’m glad they increased the sound!! Mine is in the shop getting very minor “Due Bill” items fixed so I will not get it back until sometime today or tomorrow. I now show that there is an update (nice one at that) two needs for me were the very low volume lock sound and the very slow charging at the super chargers. I hope that’s fixed as well.

Note - at least for now - the volume of the speaker is way lower than 3/Y. At least for me and few others that have noted it on this forum.

My lock sound is very quiet too. The “megaphone” function in Boombox isn’t working on mine either.
