You have a weird definition of fair. All of us bought FS trucks willingly with the specs and vouchers available at the time. Actually the voucher situation has improved we now have additional time to use it and can split it up unlike it was before.
I still have the original voucher. How has this improved?

it’s not a rounding error. quick math:

50,000 FS trucks x $2,000 per truck cost of lifetime supercharging = $100,000,000

someone in finance will notice the $100 million. hopefully!

other option: allow anyone holding the $2,500 voucher to purchase lifetime supercharging for $2,500. that’s likely a win-win. no new liability for Tesla and whomever wants lifetime supercharging (not me) can buy it for their FS CT.
That would be kinda cool because that's what it cost on my original Model S, VIN 5341.

Yes, charging non Teslas on road trips is not as seamless as it is with a Tesla. I agree with you.
It is a nightmare. We have rented a couple other EV brands and almost got stranded a number of times due to charging stations not working / being out of order.

Agreed. I picked up my AWD in April. Still no wheel covers. Delivery experience was non existent, so.....bad.
LOL, yeah, I forgot about the still missing wheel covers. I would trade those and the voucher for the lifetime free supercharging, and since I'm 75, how could they lose? ?

I think many don’t supercharge, I do on trips obviously, but minimal besides that. My prior position at work required a lot of driving and I got reimbursed for mileage, for folks in that boat this is a great deal. For those that have a local supercharger I don’t even think it’s great, you’re saving maybe $10 each time depending on your electric rate. Is it worth driving to a supercharger, waiting 40 minutes, and then driving home to save $10? No chance. Now when they build the Buc-ee’s a few exits down I would probably go there once a week or so and supercharge while I’m there.
Actually, when the supercharger is at your favorite shopping center with a Target, Trader Joe's, Micro Center, PetSmart and Total Wine among others, it is pretty great, especially if you are an old retired guy with an old Model S that has it. I tend to hit that about once a week or so depending on the weather. ?

You wanted to be the first kid on the block to have one. That was your perk. I don’t care what everyone else gets as long as I got what I was promised. Nobody promised me more or less than what I got.
Sure, but I'm always open to good swag.

Wait, you were able to transfer to a credit for SC? How? Please let me know. I am Vin 1600 and have no use for anything on web site to spend 2500$. Thank you in advance!!
If you click the 3 bar drop down in the app (top right) select your profile then select wallet. It should show there just like I attached. I haven’t used it yet but received an email saying it is now a Tesla credit that can be used up over the following year until next December if I remember right. Since my SC unlimited just ran out I plan on trying it out with my next charge.
I’m doing a cross country road trip in 3 weeks for an upcoming move and was really hoping the unlimited charging would have been good for it but it is what it is I guess. At least I can hopefully use up some of these credits. Nothing in the Tesla store is worth it for me other than the tent but I’m not paying $3000 for one.

Check out your Tesla App -> Charging -> Manage Payment --> Choose Payment Method. My $2500 credits have been converted to Tesla Credits last month and I was able to use it for supercharge. I didn't do anything on my end. Tesla sent me an email of this change. Based on my understanding, this credit needs to be spent by the end of 2025.

Edit: just noticed that the above post also mentioned that you can check it out in your Wallet as well.

I sure would have liked the free supercharging. Not complaining, just saying! I still love the CT!
I Agree, since getting my CT last march I quit using my MS with free SC. Just over the Christmas, did a 200+ mile trip with $500 worth of SC fee's spent $1675 so far this year for charging. That is supposed to read 2800+ mile trip
