Sorry, but the newest 2024 Foundation Series incentive is not going to help move leftover trucks.

Once 2025 hits next week potential buyers will be hesitant to spend $100k on a leftover 2024 model that was assembled months ago and collecting dust on the back lot of a service center.
Pretty hard to argue that you’re not trolling at this point. What’s the objective of this post?

What am I supposed to do with this information? Beyond triggering a couple of dudes, what’s the point?

I have 3 Tesla’s and probably use superchargers less than 10 times a year on all 3, so the $2500 was a better choice for me.
I agree with you $2500 is a better deal for me I've used the supercharger 3 times in the 4 months I had CB and 2 of those times were before I had the home charger put in.

Point is it is an incentive that should have been standard with FS. Then taken away after initial offering. Then Tesla could use it as an incentive to spur on sales instead of pissing all FS initial buyers off.

You wanted to be the first kid on the block to have one. That was your perk. I don’t care what everyone else gets as long as I got what I was promised. Nobody promised me more or less than what I got.

Tesla has to do what they have to do to sell these problematic trucks I bought. Every single truck has been affected with recalls and failures. Not one is exempt from the issues.

But aren't consumers supposed to get a product that performs as expected? Or you just like getting less than? I for one when I purchase a vehicle it should and is required to get me from A to Z not every 5k miles break down and that's exactly what every CT has done to everyone who has purchased it. 5 times for me at 25k miles. FN sucks.

next up: inventory discounts of $3-5K per truck. Nothing to get upset about, it's expected and normal.

Do you think the aggressive inventory discounts on Model Y mean that there is no new model launch impending? If you purchased one today would you be upset in two months when the refresh rolls out? C'mon, this is just regular business. Every automaker discounts at the end of the model year and more aggressively so, like Model Y, at the end of a body style.

This is always simple with most products people want, not need. If you wait longer it generally gets less expensive, COVID-era supply chain and parts shortages and post-COVID mega-inflation excepted.

Wow. FS should have come with lifetime supercharging from the beginning. If this doesn’t go to all of us it’s ridiculous.
Why?

No, honestly, why? You already have your trucks. This is to get the last few sold retaining the price level you bought them at. Without this, the series ends sooner, and your depreciation is higher.

No I won’t be upset with a CT refresh. But to offer free SC to FS buyers now over initial purchasers to me is an insult and it should be retroactive.

Hey, I see if have a credit for $1800 but how do I use while super charging? Do I need to remove my credit card in order for it to use it up?

When renters in your commercial spaces negotiate lower rates for space do you go back to all your other tenants and discount their rates, regardless of what they contracted?

How about for those charter fishing trips? Same thing, right? You always apply retroactive discounts I'm sure.

I have lifetime charging on my S, all my other Teslas when charging are charged to my credit card. When I charge my S the fee is $0.00 every time.

To offer six vault cargo carriers (value $450) and a a set of mole racks($500) is an incentive. Offering free supercharging for LIFE of your ownership is an insult to all previous buyers who laid their cash out to Tesla. Am I upset. Sure I am. I laid out my cash and got my truck. I got incentives with the initial offering. But to offer Free SC is going beyond incentivizing sales and to me is an insult. ICE auto makers may offer Free Gas for a year but they make it up by saying that you have to use their financing or buy a pricier model without any discounts. They blend it in. As a foundation series purchaser if I was given the option instead of the cheap sunscreen, docider compartments and floor mats that are all overpriced I would have take. The free supercharging in a heart beat and purchased aftermarket accessories at half the price. Feeling Supercharged Insulted
