I received my VIN last Friday ( North CA) and it is in 54xx range. I see all the new VIN are in 10xxx range. Is that mean that I got one left over or someone didn’t get it or they had problems so sit until now?
Most likely it had some major issues when it arrived to the service center, and they had to resolve them prior to selling to a customer, or was a customer reject for various issues. It's pretty much a Refurbished unit at this point but should be fine

It seems like the fantastic website that estimates delivery times per state hasn't been updated in about two weeks. It's possible that no deliveries have been made while they work on fixing the issue?

The guy who created the website had his truck delivered, so he likely has no motivation to continue work on it anymore. He was likely using the data to get an idea of when his own truck would arrive, and now that he has it, there's no incentive to keep working on it id imagine.

I've seen this thing on almost every automotive site, someone takes it upon them to build something that tracks deliveries, then they get their vehicle and vanish lol

My experience is that all staff will tell you that the app is the only source for updates.
I am near my service center and so I just stopped by roughly every other day. They would tell me "It's still in Texas" or "It's at three of four stops, so getting close". So it probably can not hurt to give them a call, or give them a call every few days if you get someone who won't look into it for you. YMMV?

I'm not sure if this is the same guy and data? https://www.cybertruckownersclub.co...al-update-2-20-2024.10988/page-11#post-249667

Yeah, additionally, the data is pretty clear by now. There is not so much benefit in tracking every VIN as we now have deliveries in almost all states, and the cadence is pretty clear. Config to VIN in 80-90 days, config to delivery, 90-100 days. This will only get quicker going forward of course.

Spent all day making sure everything was set for delivery. Got vin this morning. AWD, SC said it will come after 5/23 so delivery will probably be right after.

1 ) The first 5 digits of your RN#: 11290xxx
2) The date you configured your truck: 3-3-2024
3) The date you received your VIN assignment: 05-18-2024
4) The number range of your VIN: 12xxx
5) The Date you will take delivery: TBD
6) Your state: GA

UPDATE: I just got to schedule my delivery date for TOMORROW.... Wow this is all happening so fast. They only had one timeslot I could choose. I guess all SC's are swamped with model y deliveries.

decided against the range extender after some thought.
Just the AWD version.
let us know when you get any new dates ! congrats
Thanks!
Ok, so I got a notification an hour ago to accept that autowipers may temporarily not work on delivery, fine.
I checked the app, no VIN
I checked the insurance tab and click "use my own insurance"... great, a VIN!
Doesn't matter how many times I restart the app, I go back to the main page in the app that shows the cybertruck and it still shows my RN not my VIN. No emails, texts or any other notifications, just a secret location where I can find my VIN.

Anyway, date I managed to figure out my vin 5/21.
VIN 135xx
Still can't schedule appointment.

Interestingly enough my VIN (meaning by how many cars produced before) is similar to the model S we bought in 2013. At that VIN range it had some minor initial issues from being effectively a first year model, but nothing as bad as our signature X.

That’s where the VIN shows up for everyone when you click ‘vehicle details’.

I'm picking up tomorrow and my app just shows the RN as well, however, below that it has a link "Vehicle Details" that shows the VIN and configuration details. Last week, I finalized insurance and payment information and was notified via in-app messaging that my vehicle was being transported into the state (dealership laws). Yesterday, I scheduled my delivery and those appropriate screens changed.
