Tonneau Cover Weather Seals In between SLATS coming undone

Has this happened to anyone?
Noticed it when my cover wouldn't open and close well
I tried my best to squeeze or pull the seals but they are wedged in tight
NO idea how this could have happened

maybe spray some WD-40 to lubricate the rubber seals so you can move them? I will try everything I can to fix it before sending it to service center ....

lol same. But its SOO tight and there's no leverage. Can't go from under. Top if you try grabbing it it can rip the seal lol

Slat system is a single piece too.. wonder what replacement cost is?

man yours is bad its like a variation of mine. I rarely use mine too LOL. Also I only stood on it once.

Free under warranty.. but OUT of warranty.. I checked the service manual and it's intense. THey have to remove it and put it on this device in order to manually fix the seals lol

They can fix the seals but geez, I would not want to be the tech doing this

It might be easier to move them where the tonneau bends at the top...?

I usually see silicone spray recommended for rubber seals on vehicles. YMMV, IMHO, etc.

I imagine that if the rubber seals are "dry" they could catch on the slats and "inch-worm" their way out. Keep in mind that this is just pure speculation on my part, haha!!

Picked mine up in the pouring rain, outdoor delivery, and didn't notice until the weather cleared up that my tonneau looks just like this. So frustrating, and I'm too afraid to retract the cover with a slat seal in this condition. Almost a whole month to get a service appointment in my area.

Can you slide a seal that is at the bend as it gaps about to be rolled up? If so, you could incrementally fix it.

I removed the aero cover or applique to get better access but the way it folds its up against the glass so very difficult.
