Don't be silly... The Florida to California race was used as an example to highlight the fact that the Cybertruck does not perform any better on the road than the competitors trucks. Infact, when you take into consideration that Cyber had the advantage of a superior charging network, and the fact that Tesla was the last one to market... The Tesla should have easily won the race. My business does require real world range. I live in So Cal and no mater if we travel north through LA on the 5, North East up the 15 towards Las Vegas, or East on the 10 through Palm Springs, we gain altitude, which strains any EV's battery. Do you consider 80 miles of range while towing to be an acceptable number for the leading EV manufacturer in the world?Your business requires racing from Florida to California?
Why cancel the other orders now, what if Tesla gets the message and builds the next generations of trucks with more battery capacity and range?I challenge you to cancel the other two orders now and purchase a Chevy and Rivian, now! Best of luck.
View attachment 50144Love how the guy posts he is cancelling and then never responds again.
It’s either a bogus or stupid post. First of all why would you need to cancel? It’s for the Foundation series. Just don’t do anything and your reservation is still good for the non-Foundation series or is still there if you change your mind. And what happens if later the non-Foundation series comes out with a bigger battery pack? Because you cancelled you will lose out.
I have my truck and plan to keep it for a long time. I have two more reservations down the line. I would never dream of cancelling them. If demand is still hot in a couple years and they do increase the battery range I would probably sell my truck and get a new one.

This is the situation I am in for similar reasons. I received a VIN and declined for two weeks and received a second VIN. Fear I need to cancel but want a full refund.Did you put down the $1,000 additional deposit, get a VIN and walk away from your actual delivery, or did you just decide to not use the reservation and get your $100 back?
Why are you looking to cancel? If you do I believe they keep the $1,000This is the situation I am in for similar reasons. I received a VIN and declined for two weeks and received a second VIN. Fear I need to cancel but want a full refund.
