Our center caps & lug covers are getting great reviews. Probably not going to make covers though, more complicated than you might think, and if Tesla can't figure it out, probably more complicated than the usual complications! I've never kept the aero covers on any of our EV's though, unless there's a mega road trip, and right now, the CT wouldn't be on the cards for that.

Tesla should just provide free Supercharging to the original owner for life. That would offset some of these minor things Foundation Series owners have been dealing with since launch.
I agree but for life would be a bit much but at least the life of the battery warranty. My tonneau cover after service two weeks ago, not working again. I would have thought as important as that cover is to open and close during the life of the vehicle they would have run tests of at least 100,000 repetitions for durability. I can't be one of the few have this many problems with the cover am I? Schedule for service again 2 Jul. cover, headlight adjustment and Safety light came on.

Then tesla should pay us back the cost for the wheel covers .... another credit voucher to buy from Tesla store for the "OUT OF STOCK" items ...

its WIN WIN for Tesla .. put expiry date on the voucher, keep items out of stock and say one time use only ...
Yeah I'm a little upset about the out of stock items. Out of stock... ok fine.. but at least allow me to put in a pre-order with the power share voucher they gave us.. i.e. the air compressor and cross bars.. I can't get the full value of the voucher with how many out of stock and "coming out late 2024" items there are.. Voucher expires in 9 days! =[ Do the people receiving their FS's later get a better chance at picking up those items since their voucher's won't expire till much later?

It expires next year.

But I’m 100% with you on the backorder deal. At least let voucher folks backorder. I also want the CT Compressor Ultra, haha!!

LOL @ Goodyear... They developed the tire with TSLA and probably expected to sell a ton of replacement tires to CT owners, but... if no covers fit, we wont buy it!

I was told today at SC that covers are coming. Confusing messages out there but it sounds like they're coming at some point. Per the manager I talked too there was no doubt in his voice. We'll see.

I picked up my new Cybertruck on Tuesday the 18th. The Sales Manager told me that he had received an email that day from the higher ups saying that the wheel covers are not coming back. Thought I'd pass on the word and see if anybody else had heard the same.

By the way, first time poster, but long time reader. This place was a wealth of knowledge for me prior to order/pickup. Thanks!!
I hope Tesla is going to provide some compensation if they are not providing the covers as promised? How about 10,000 free changing credits?

Frankly, I can't believe they didn't uncover it in testing. As an engineer, I find that poor engineering and testing.
Pretty sure it's not engineers that decide to sell things before they are ready.

The current ordering page appears to show a new design? Maybe?

I don't see how the new design (AT tire) is going to be any different than the original as it extends into the tire in the same way.
Looks like it could be sturdier due to shorter "spokes", thereby possibly having less give and not rubbing against the tire. What you cannot tell yet by the photo is maybe it also gives more clearance.
