I’m seriously going to take it back! I mean it’s brand new and supposed to have 340 mile range. And yes I need those extra 22 miles and further, that’s what they advertise! Anyone else had this issue? I’m so unbelievably bummed out. The truck only had 15 miles when I picked it up. Anyone? It’s the AWD dual motor.

have you been living on another planet? We’ve known since November that the FS AWD with AT tires (standard) is 318, and the Beast is more like 308.

I'm surprised your battery management system is that calibrated already tbh. Based on your driving profile that's going to swing around wildly. I drive like I have nitroglycerin in the vault, but I'm also an old soul that's had more than enough g forces in my life, so my range is more like 350, but not when I picked it up.

FS range is estimated at 318 miles with the AT wheels/tires, not 340. The range displayed on your touchscreen is also an estimate. Actual range will depend on your driving habits.

Let me get this straight…. You are going to try and return the fucking truck over 22 miles? This stuff is just getting stupid. Enjoy the truck because it’s awesome!

That range figure on the top left corner is the EPA estimate, it does not change based on driving habits. You have to go into the energy app to see an estimate based on driving habits.

Ah, interesting, did not know that. I've never had miles displayed in my Teslas, so i guess that makes sense why i never noticed. :D

Yes take it back. Don't bother reading anything about the battery, the million factors, etc. Because of the 22 missing miles, def return it. Good luck.

I tried once to load each electron and weigh it so I could solve this problem. Get a good measurement ya know.

Then someone told me it is a measurement of how much energy is stored in battery, and that my weighing them wouldn't work.

So I moved it to %, and my dog loves me now. So does the wife.
