Normal Operating Sounds (tesla.com)

Tesla actually recorded a bunch of "NORMAL OPERATION" sounds for people so you can hear what is normal and what isn't. I did check and its the same sounds in all the DIY guides (Model 3 / Model Y / Cybertruck). Not sure if its different on the S/X or if there are certain features they didn't record.
This is really helpful and I'll keep checking it, but it looks like they've pulled it for now. The link not longer works.

I have noticed my motor makes aif whining noise when I am just lightly pressing the accelerator pedal. The sound doesn’t happen when my foot is off the pedal or moderate to heavy acceleration.

Unfortunately, whenever I am trying to maintain speed on a flat road, I have to deal with the whine for long periods because of just slightly pressing the pedal.

If others don’t have this, I may report to service.
You hear the motors because the Cybertruck is so quiet inside. Other Teslas are noisier so you don’t hear the motors. Other BEVs you hear both.

Thanks. That’s helpful. It’s not the end of the world, I’m blessed to have a truck. Just curious if it could/should be fixed.
It can be fixed but then the car won’t go anywhere :)

My 2018 model X was just as quite inside as the truck. It has almost no motor noise. The motors in the truck are noisier than older Tesla’s.

I just talked about this in my service appointment and the technician drive the truck with me to check the high pitched whining sound. He told me that is from inverter and CT has this noise more or less. He also told me if it is not getting worse, no need to worry about it.

Is this what it sounds like?

I posted this before here and never got a response from anyone. My SC appt also told me that it is the inverter, but it is very annoying. Happens around 59mph on my car only when accelerator is pressed. It sounds like a chirping or flutter sound.
