I struggle.

Its difficult to "contain" my love for this truck - Its just so much fun and I'm a first time pickup truck owner... so here's my dliemma:

I would take it EVERYWHERE - but my family is much less showy -minded than I am - so they sometime admonish me to say "its probably not appropriate to take it to xxx"..

Which brings me to my sincere question:

For those who already own one, and recognizing how "visible" this vehicle is (especially on the east coast where there are still so few of them) --

What are the appropriate places you can take it, and where would you NOT?

I have a wedding coming up soon (Indian wedding so epic fun multi-day event with lots of fun) - but not sure a cybertruck is appropriate.. I have other "fancy" vehicles I can take but I JUST WANT TO TAKE MY CT. Is it appropriate? (We're just invitees)

And where is the line you draw? Church / Temple ? Wake?
I guess Home Depot and Picnic are totally OK - but would love to hear your thoughts?

Wedding Yes ? No?
I came out of a Ram pickup and now the Cyber is my daily driver. I take it everywhere I go. I know some have had negative experiences but so far I have not run into one instance.

You picked a 6000 pound, 600 hp truck as your first truck?

Dear god.

In your overly-elated state obviously loving the attention, try to keep in mind this isn’t your Prius and it doesn’t handle that way. More space, more time.

I’m terrified of you first time truckers owners who thought it was a good idea to buy a full-size truck. I see a few of them driving around here and it’s so painfully obvious. Please be careful.

I just have to add, what exactly are you asking? You seriously have issues about where you think your truck is appropriate? It’s not like it’s shaped like some kind of dick on wheels or a billboard for promoting war crimes. And then you go to the Internet to ask people? This feels a lot more like some kind of flex, but I’m not sure because it’s just so weird.

And before someone goes off on me about not being supportive, please, you put this on the Internet and don’t expect people to think it’s weird/react to it?
Respect your opinion.
My first pickup.
Had Benz G, have other “very high end” SUV but first pickup.
And based on reactions and sticking out, some already have said here “not appropriate at Funeral.

So asking.

Thanks for your opinion.

Take it any and everywhere you would take your other vehicles. If you have to be restricted and have boundaries on where you can take the Cyber Truck, is it even worth owning?
Ummm, the Cybertruck would be worth owning if I was only allowed to drive it on Thursdays!

Yes, that would be sad, but still worth it. ?

If you don't want to attract too much attention then find the most out of the way or secluded place to park.

Take it everywhere like I do. Let more people see it so it becomes less exotic and we get to the "its just another truck" phase faster. Its only fancy and unique now, that will change when there's more than 13k on the road.

My VIN is 228XX and got it on 7/15 so we are closer to 2x your number (13k) by now I would assume.

Could be. Time flies by, just last month I saw we were at 11,XXX on the road, so I just assumed about 1-2k a month. I have no facts to back it, just 100% assumptions. We're still a small bunch even at 30k.
