Vehicle requires a ground to charge. It could also mean there's a more serious issue, but if your using a mobile inverter/battery, then you do need a proper ground.

There are off the shelf ones, but my charger supports it so I haven't needed to get one. I'm not sure how to fix it without knowing a lot more. What power station are you using? Cable? kW ratings?

It's all solar. Never wanted a generator with moving parts.
We solved it. Earth ground to neutral problem.

You just connect the neutral to the ground on the generator (solar or otherwise).
