...it's actually less than the Tesla adapter.
FYI Tesla prices from Tesla.com:

CCS Combo 1 Adapter: $125
CCS Combo 1 Adapter Model S/X Retrofit with Adapter: $300
CCS Combo 1 Adapter Model 3/Y Retrofit with Adapter: $225

I ordered the CCS-1 to NACS Cybertruck adapter from Teslaunch.

If experience is anything like rear seat understorage bin, I suspect it will take 6-8 weeks to arrive minimum.

I will say my storage bin, even with lengthy shipping, is fine and as advertised.

More to follow as I test the CCS-1 adapter when it eventually appears on my doorstep.

Yes, I saw that $125 price cut announced today, but it's still not compatible with Cybertruck. The price cut was announced long after I posted my comment that you quoted.

I’m a bit concerned about their recent Trustpilot reviews.

I don't disagree.

I have had one experience with them.

- Lengthy shipping time
- Product was as advertised and working great (rear underseat storage bin)

No overall complaints.

Your mileage may vary.

You should be. Once I cancelled and asked for a refund, it was just like the reviews. Offering me discounts to wait and obtain the item shipped from China. I created an immediate dispute with my credit card company. They acquiesced and said they would refund my money. It’s definitely sketchy.

Good luck to those who ordered. I hope it’s quality.

I was seriously considering performing surgery on my existing Tesla CCS adapter to make it fit the CT but after expensive reading on the potential power it would have to carry, far beyond its design specs I decided against it. I'll wait for the official Tesla adapter.

A couple hundred dollar CCS adapter vs 100k vehicle, where was my head. Yeah, I'll wait.

I ordered one as well. Better to have and not need, than to need and not have. I wish Tesla would put out an official statement that one was coming or something. I'd prefer to have an official Tesla adapter.

please let us know how this goes.

Would love to hear about how it works out. I’m lazy though and didn’t do the math after looking at the stats on the website so not sure how to convert all the numbers they listed on specs to max kW it can handle. I saw that it will cut out if it overheats with some kind of dual protection in that regard to prevent shorting but i wasn’t clear on if would still need to pay attention to the kW output in the wild and if it would truly handle negotiating it down to a level that would prevent this if the supercharger puts out more than it can handle with its hardware or if we would have to check and then disconnect if it was trying to feed too much for the adapter. If the latter, we’d have to have some sort of list updated on an ongoing basis (as Tesla updates current charging stations) of which ones were safe to use and which would be safety hazards.

once people have actual experience with this adapter and how it fits and works i think it will be very helpful to those looking to increase their charging options during road trips in areas with a dearth of Tesla superchargers with NACS plugs.

cheers
