Hello everyone as a new cyber truck owner wanted to inquire what is a good level to keep the battery yet if we’re not using the truck all that often I’ve been Hearing people say leave it at 50% 60% 70% 80% any thoughts or insight would be greatly appreciated for the time being we do not put a lot of mileage on the Truck just don’t want to make a mistake damaging the battery. Thank you in advance.

Tesla recommends between 50-80%. You'll find many schools of thought as to where to keep it.
You'll find the 50% people who believe that it makes the battery last longer.
But then there's that Tesla data that say 80%, even 90% will allow the battery to last well past 200,000 miles.

Basically, whatever best fits your needs.

But you should periodically, (every quarter or so) charge it to 95-100% to let the BMS and cells reset. Best reason to do this is to take a trip.

Answers vary. Tesla's recommended maximum for daily charging is 80%.

I charge mine to 70% figuring 70% of 123kwh = 86kwh x 3 mi/kwh = 250+ miles of real-world range available. Most I'll ever use on a given day is 120 miles (exception) so I fell pretty well covered. YMMV

Others charge higher or lower.

This is for long term storage, to clarify. If you're going to be gone a long time, plug it in and set it to 50%. If it's being used a few times a week, 80% is still fine. 100% just before discharging it is also perfectly healthy, like before a road trip. But if you can do what you need with 80%, that's the official recommendation.

Can you stop this BS response? You know it isn't true, because Tesla doesn't even allow you to set those numbers.
