One roadside operator said inverter and the other said firmware failure. I’m hoping for the ladder.
Firmware failure seems unlikely as that is not unique to your vehicle. Faulty hardware is though. Sorry, not trying to be a jerk, just being realistic

This is normal… meaning it happens a LOT. Meaning many have reported it hear, so imagine the many not reporting here..

Lame to keep shipping these with this known ‘issue’

why not just fix it at the factory before it’s delivered.?

It took 25 hours before it failed-can you imagine the cost of 25 hours of testing on every new vehicle?

This is why New vehicles and especially brand new designs come with warranties. Plenty to fault Tesla for in the CT product (and a lot it got right) but not catching every flaw isn't one.

Don't get me wrong, I'd be mad if it were my brand new truck that puked! Not shocked but mad...

The ‘same failure’ can/should be fixed.. this is what recalls are for.. yet they still continue to ship with this issue.

I’m certain they know the ‘problem’.. they obviously see no need to fix it and ensure it doesn’t happen before it leaves the factory.

Sorry this happened to you. ? However, a handful of faulty sensors is not the same as thousands of faulty sensors. I don't know the exact count obviously, but this was in response to those wanting a recall for the sensors.

But it doesn’t happen to [nearly] every truck so it must be something wrong in a batch of something or how it is installed. Difficult to predict.

There is a warlord on the other side of the planet with a CT.. which allegedly got ‘turned off’…

They can track ‘batches’…if they wanted to. this too happens very often with recalls.. from 10’s to 1000’s
