It's fake. Read the thread title, it says Geico is cancelling ALL Cybertruck insurance policies. Not only are they not doing that, they are still issuing new Cybertruck insurance policies.
I apologize for saying "all" in the thread title. I was pretty upset to see what seemed to be happening. It is posed as a question, and I wanted to hear, from the members of the forum, if this is a legitimate concern. I appreciate your perspectives, especially yours, H. A. I hope you're 100% correct, but I never intended to introduce any FUD myself.

I tried to get GEICO to insure mine in May and they gave me a policy only to cancel it a few days later and then made me take a commercial policy. So now I switched all my cars 5 in total to Progressive. ?‍♂

I had Geico. Switched over all my cars, which are all Teslas, to Tesla insurance and saved a bunch of money.

Same. Progressive initially gave me a "new policyholder" rate and then tried to double it after 6 months. Luckily Tesla insurance became available in MN so I switched. Half the Progressive cost.

I believe this is true. They wouldn’t insure my cybertruck so I left to progressive.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I WAS with Geico until I got a quote on my Cyberbeast. Prior to the Cyberbeast I was paying about $450 a month for 3 vehicles. Keep in mind, I'm near 50, married, etc. . . I added the Cybertruck and my monthly went to $2200 a month! yes, $1750 a month for the Cyberbeast! Obviously I instantly cancelled my policy. I'm now with Progressive. I have all 4 vehicles cover for $400 a month, and the policy is better than the one I had with Geico.

Is anyone having issues with Progressive? I don't have my CT yet, but plan on staying with Progressive as I have been with them for a VERY long time. (I think since 1999). I was happy to see Cybertruck was a selection when I checked to see how much more its insurance would be. I was VERY pleased to see it was only $100 more per YEAR than my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Although I may want to beef up my coverage.
The secret to Progressive (and probably others) is to call them everytime your policy is up (I'm grandfathered in on having my policies last the entire year, everyone else has a 6 month policy) and complain and talk them down. One time my monthy payment went up $20. After I called, it only went up $5.
So, how many of you are using Progressive on your CT and have you had any issues?

I just saw an article stating GEICO is pulling their coverage of Cybertrucks. I have GEICO and have not been notified myself as of right now. Has anyone else encountered this?

Here's the link to the article:

I just hope others don't follow suite or Tesla insurance goes to all the states.
The issue may be with the remaining states' insurance commissioners, who still need to approve them based on something I read a few years ago.

You can steal a Kia just by looking at it, and a Cybertruck is the vehicle which is uninsursble?
Yeah, but if your Kia gets totaled, you are out what? eleven bucks? Twelve if you count the change in the cup holder?
