If you can afford a Cybertruck, you can afford to set your deductible to $2,500 or however high they will let you set it. This makes a big difference in the monthly premium.

I personally have max coverage with the highest deductible (on my Model 3) and I'm paying $500/6 months in California with State Farm and the same for my wife's Y.

Agreed - I went to a $2,000 deductible for mine (I've usually done $1,000 for past cars). I'm at State Farm bundled with home + another car + two trailers and I'm at $147/month. I do drive a lot though (put 30K miles on my Model Y in less than two years). Tesla Insurance was about double that for their initial quote ...

Is this common?? I have a good driving record and no accidents. I live in NJ
Try American Family. I've been with them for 35 years. Everytime I benchmark (every 5 years) other providers, AmFam wins. 2020 Model S is $1800.30 per year. Max coverage. Also have another gasser, home and umbrella with them. 85739 Arizona, no crashes in 61 years of driving.

A big factor is where you live…last time I moved my car insurance went up 800 dollars for one car every 6 months just because I moved 30 miles.
