coming back from dirt biking today my FSD wouldnt engage - said unavailable...wierd. Was thinking it's maybe because the tailgate was open, but it worked last weekend no issue...will try without bikes in back/tailgate down and see if back to normal - that would suck if they make it so the tailgate cant be down.

Updated SW to 33.15 and now I am unable to access the vehicle. Digital keycard and physical keycard will not unlock the door. And of course because the truck is locked, the manual jump of the powered frunk will not work either. Tow truck on its way.
Sorry to hear about this condition. What did you use to attempt to open the frunk, a jump box? Do you know what the voltage level of the source was?

I updated last night and had no issues.

FWIW, I’m an independent tech and can remote into the vehicle and have a look to see if there are any clues as to why this happened. Just PM me your VIN and email address tied to your Tesla account. A request to access your vehicle data will come from Tesla and you’ll be able to turn it off at any time.

Have had 33.15 as an early access build for a few days and it feels worse than the prior build.

Sharp turns are more jittery, truck did not want to drive when the signal turned green (twice) and decided to turn the wrong way onto a route that it used to navigate without any problems. Basically feels like the truck is being nervous and timid.

Despite these bonehead errors on vanilla drives, it did pull off a big brain ninja maneuver when a car entering the freeway failed to merge when the on-ramp lane ended! (Accelerated to get clear of the offending vehicle while straddling two lanes to avoid a collision with neighboring vehicles.) Felt like the truck was pulling a Matrix kung-fu maneuver!

Your battery probably died while updating. I always do it while plugged in.

Not sure it matters if you are plugged in because during some parts of the install the DC to DC converter is not active and that part of the system is being updated.

I've experienced this first hand and had an update fail part way through. I was able to get it completed using a jump pack until the install completed.

Ingineerix (well known engineer who does tear downs and manages fleets of Teslas for years) indicated that Tesla has been doing more and better 12v/16v battery verification *before* the install is allowed to start.

Just did 33.15 ok. Was dog slow downloading, but that's because it's parked at the edge of where my 2.4GHz WiFi reaches (I'm putting in a range extender shortly).

Was very slow to respond on the app after the app had reported update complete. Tried twice to flash the lights, no joy; then restarted the app and tried again, and it finally responded.

After the latest update, my passenger doors will not unlock from the outside. I have the new 'Driver unlock all doors' settings.

Tried now several times - and you cannot open the passenger door from the outside.

Even with my phone key.

guess I will try a reboot.

Took delivery today got home and downloaded 33.15

it’s stuck at 60%. It was, still is, plugged in. Am I hosed? I feel like I had a few struggles with updates on my model 3 I sweat over but ended up working out crossing fingers. It’s been almost 20 minutes at 60% installing ?

I'd wait an hour at least. Realize that the software is downloaded and then verified before it starts the install.
You can 'reinstall' from the service menu.
See this section: Infotainment menu - Connectivity, Software, ECU Update Status
in #2 thread in my signature. There is a "reinstall" button on the Software page. HTH

Thanks…yes I’m going to chill I’m sure it’ll be fine…Forgot it wasn’t that uncommon to run into hour long updates every once in a while. I’ll give her 3 hours before I worry. Thanks for reinforcement!

In my Tesla Model X, a couple of 'recent' ones took just over an hour. Generally less than an hour.

I had the same issue also, it was stuck for a long time on 99%, i thought it locked up and eventually finished.
